Le triathlon des enfants à l’Alpe d’Huez : 100 participants
Demain, triathlon longue distance.
La centaine d’enfants participant au triathlon organisé pour eux au sein des triathlons
Cyrille Neveu, ainsi que les parents, bénévoles et accompagnateurs ont contribué à la réussite de
cette belle journée. Sur des distances adaptées à chaque catégorie d’âge, tous les enfants ont
donné le meilleur d’eux même et ainsi pu faire comme les grands.
Demain Mercredi, place au triathlon longue distance. Suite à la conférence de presse tenue
ce mardi en fin de journée, les principaux favoris ont tenu à afficher leurs objectifs. A l’instar de
Chrissie Wellington, qui revient sur le terrain de ses premiers exploits. L’australienne est prête à
affronter la concurrence proposée par Bella Comerford (GB), Audrey Cleau (FR), et Alexandra
Louison (FR). Chez les hommes, la lutte s’annonce tout aussi passionnante entre Stephen Bayliss
(GB), Cyril Mazure (FR), José Jeuland et Markus Ornelas (Bresil).
Rendez-vous pour ces champions demain matin 9h30 au lac du Verney en compagnie de
400 autres triathlètes prêt aussi à en découdre sur le magnifique parcours de l’oisans. 12
nationalités et 375 engagées.

- Mercredi 30 juillet, Triathlon Longue Distance Vaujany - Alpe d’Huez – EDF (2,2 km
natation + 115 km vélo + 22 km course à pied). Départ à 09h30.
- Jeudi 31 juillet, Triathlon Courte Distance Vaujany – Alpe d’Huez – EDF (1,2 km natation +
30 km vélo + 7 km course à pied). Départ à 14h.

The kid’s triathlon in l’Alpe d’Huez : 100 young athletes took part.
Tomorrow, the long distance triathlon with 375 athletes and 12 nationalities.
The hundred of children who took part in the kid’s triathlon, organized for them as one of
the triathlons of Cyrille Neveu, plus their parents, and volunteers gave to this day a fragrance of big
happiness…On distances adapted to their age, all the children gave all the energy and
experienced the same feelings as adults athletes.
Tomorrow Wenesday, the long distance. During a press conference late this afternoon, the
favorites competitors gave their goals for the race. Chrissie Wellington (Australia) is ready to
compete with Bella Comerford (GB), Audrey Cleau (FR), and Alexandra Louison (FR).On the men
side, the fight will be also fantastic between Stephen Bayliss (GB), Cyril Mazure (FR), José
Jeuland(FR) and Marcus Ornellas (Bresil).
Meeting point : lac du Verney, tomorrow morning at 9h30 for all the athletes. 375 men and
women will cross the fabulous landscape of Oisans, finishing in l’Alpe d’Huez.
· Wednesday 30 July. Vaujany/Alpe d'Huez/EDF Long Distance Triathlon (2.2 km
swim, 115km cycling, 22 kms run). Depart at 9:30 am.
· Thursday 31 July. Vaujany/Alpe d'Huez/EDF Short Distance Triathlon (1.2km swim,
30km cycling, 7km run). Depart at 2pm.
