Dopo la Spagna Cairoli ha conquistato così anche la Gran Bretagna e non vuole fermarsi più. Primo in gara1 e terzo in gara2 TC222 si è aggiudicato la classifica finale della gara MXGP davanti a Clement Desalle e Romain Febvre.
Sono punti pesanti quelli raccolti da Tony Cairoli con questa vittoria; punti che lo rilanciano alla grande anche nella classifica generale del mondiale dove ora Cairoli è terzo con 274 punti alle spalle dell’attuale leader Max Nagl (295) e Clement Desalle, secondo (291). It was a fantastic weekend for Tony Cairoli and Sidi Sport. On the Matterley Basin circuit in Great Britain, the eight-time world champion took his second win of the season. After his victory in Spain, Cairoli struck again in Great Britain, and he shows no sign of slowing down. First in race 1 and third in race 2, TC222 topped the final classification of the MXGP ahead of Clement Desalle and Romain Febvre.
The points Cairoli earned with this victory are important, as they significantly strengthen his overall position in the world championship. He is third with 274 points, behind current leader Max Nagl (295) and second-placed Clement Desalle (291). For Cairoli, the hunt for a ninth world title is still wide open, and the next few races will be fun…
