Kremers in the international top four in KZ2
In Sarno, the last event of the WSK Super Master Series confirmed the high level of performance of several drivers of the Birel ART Racing Team. Kremers’ 4th place overall in the KZ2 series allowed him to calmly contemplate the rest of the international season, while the potential was there in OK with Coluccio and in OK-Junior with Camara.
“Everything is gradually falling into place in the team and our goals of victory remain more relevant than ever,” said Ronni Sala, President of Birel ART Group. “The work we have done since the beginning of the season has not yet fully borne fruit, but the foundation of our programme is now strong. Competition is very tight in every category and success does not always reward our drivers’ efforts, but we are confident for the important races ahead.”
Contested in the sun with rising temperatures, the Sarno meeting was marked by races of a rare intensity that did not allow everyone to take the finish. Facing constant battles from the beginning to the end of a meeting requires drivers and technicians to surpass themselves and strengthen their motivation in the face of adversity. This is a crucial step in building a successful season for a top team.
The official Birel ART testing in KZ2 has confirmed the potential of the great Lissone brand. Although they had to retire in the Final fights, Alex Irlando and Alexander Dahlberg had time to convince. Irlando finished 6th in the Prefinal and finished the series in the top 10, while Dahlberg was more motivated than ever. Leonardo Marseglia proved his determination with a very encouraging 12-place finish in the Final. Marijn Kremers was still fighting once again among the best. Back in 6th place in the Final, he finished 4th in the championship.
For a long time Luigi Coluccio was at the front of the OK category with interesting consistency. 5th in Qualifying and 4th after the heats, he began by taking control of his Prefinal before being forced to drop back. A retirement on the second lap of the Final deprived him of a result consistent with his competitiveness and he had to settle for 11th position overall. For his first experience in OK, Thomas Nepveu had the joy of qualifying for the Final and returning to 21st despite a penalty.
Despite many setbacks, Rafael Camara finished the WSK Super Master Series in the top 10 of the OK-Junior category, while Cristian Bertucca was a serious prospect in the 12-14 age group race after race.
Selected and supported by the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug confirmed her progress in OK. Delayed by a retirement in a heat, she ensured a gain of eight places in the Final to reach 11th position. It was more complicated this time in OK-Junior for Julia Ayoub is learning about top-level European competition with determination.
After the strong lessons of this meeting, the Birel ART team remained in Sarno to participate at the opening of the WSK Euro Series at the Neapolitan circuit next weekend.
Kremers già nei Top-4 internazionali nella KZ2
A Sarno, l’ultima prova della WSK Super Master Series ha confermato il buon livello di performance di vari piloti del Team Birel ART Racing. Il quarto posto di Kremers nella classifica generale KZ2 della serie ha permesso di prevedere serenamente il prosieguo della stagione internazionale, mentre il potenziale non mancava nella OK con Coluccio e nella OK-Junior con Camara.
“Il puzzle si sta progressivamente componendo nella squadra e i nostri obiettivi di vittoria sono più che mai d’attualità”, ha dichiarato Ronni Sala, Presidente di Birel ART Group. “Il lavoro che abbiamo svolto sin da inizio stagione non ha ancora dato tutti i suoi frutti, ma la base del nostro programma è ormai solida. La competizione è molto agguerrita in tutte le categorie e non sempre l’impegno dei nostri piloti è ripagato dal successo, ma siamo fiduciosi per le prossime gare.”
Disputato con il sole e temperature in rialzo, l’appuntamento di Sarno è stato segnato da gare di rara intensità che non hanno permesso a tutti di tagliare il traguardo. Affrontare delle continue battaglie dall’inizio alla fine di un meeting obbliga i piloti e i tecnici a superarsi e a rafforzare la propria motivazione nelle avversità. È una tappa fondamentale nella costruzione di una stagione ad alto livello per un team che punta ai vertici.
La formazione ufficiale Birel ART nella KZ2 ha confermato il potenziale del grande marchio di Lissone. Anche se nella bagarre finali hanno dovuto rinunciare, Alex Irlando e Alexander Dahlberg hanno avuto il tempo di convincere. Irlando ha concluso al sesto posto nella sua prefinale e ha terminato la serie nella Top-10, mentre Dahlberg è stato più motivato che mai. Leonardo Marseglia ha dimostrato la sua determinazione riuscendo a prodigarsi in una straordinaria rimonta di dodici posizioni in occasione della finale. Marijn Kremers si è battuto ancora una volta fino alla fine tra i migliori. Rimontato in sesta posizione in finale, si è classificato quarto in campionato.
Luigi Coluccio è stato a lungo nelle prime posizioni nella categoria OK con un’interessante regolarità. Quinto nelle prove cronometrate, quarto dopo le manche, aveva iniziato a prendere il comando della sua prefinale per poi essere costretto a retrocedere. Un ritiro al secondo giro della finale lo ha privato di un risultato conforme alla sua competitività e ha dovuto accontentarsi dell’undicesimo posto in classifica generale. Per la sua prima esperienza nella OK, Thomas Nepveu ha avuto la gioia di qualificarsi in finale e di rimontare al 21° posto nonostante una penalità.
Nonostante i molti contrattempi, Rafael Camara ha concluso la WSK Super Master Series nella Top-10 della categoria OK-Junior mentre Cristian Bertucca si è dimostrato, gara dopo gara, una seria promessa tra piloti di età compresa tra i 12 e i 14 anni.
Scelta e supportata dalla Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug ha confermato la sua progressione nella OK. Ostacolata da un ritiro in una manche, ha fatto una rimonta di otto posizioni in finale fino a raggiungere l’undicesimo posto. Situazione più complicata stavolta per Julia Ayoub nella OK-Junior che tuttavia prosegue con determinazione il suo apprendistato nelle alte competizioni europee.
Forte degli insegnamenti di questo meeting, il team Birel ART è rimasto a Sarno per partecipare sin dal week-end prossimo all’apertura della WSK Euro Series in programma sul circuito napoletano.

« Tout se met progressivement en place dans l’équipe et nos objectifs de victoire restent plus que jamais d’actualité », déclarait Ronni Sala, Président de Birel ART Group. « Le travail que nous avons effectué depuis le début de la saison ne porte pas encore pleinement ses fruits, mais la base de notre programme est désormais solide. La compétition est très serrée dans toutes les catégories et la réussite ne récompense pas toujours les efforts de nos pilotes, mais nous sommes confiants pour les courses importantes à venir. »
Disputé sous le soleil avec des températures en hausse, le rendez-vous de Sarno a été marqué par des courses d’une rare intensité qui n’ont pas permis à tout le monde de rallier l’arrivée. Faire face à des batailles permanentes du début à la fin d’un meeting oblige pilotes et techniciens à se surpasser et à renforcer leur motivation dans l’adversité. C’est une étape cruciale dans la construction d’une saison à haut niveau pour une équipe visant les sommets.
La formation officielle Birel ART en KZ2 a confirmé le potentiel de la grande marque de Lissone. Bien qu’ils aient dû renoncer lors des bagarres finales, Alex Irlando et Alexander Dahlberg ont eu le temps de convaincre. Marijn Kremers se battait encore une fois jusqu’au bout parmi les meilleurs. Revenu en 6e position de la finale, il se classait 4e du championnat.

Un abandon dans le 2e tour de la finale le privait d’un résultat conforme à sa compétitivité et il devait se contenter de la 11e position au classement général. Pour sa première expérience en OK, Thomas Nepveu a eu la joie de se qualifier en finale et de revenir au 21e rang malgré une pénalité.
Malgré bien des contretemps, Rafael Camara a conclu la WSK Super Master Series dans le top 10 de la catégorie OK-Junior tandis que Cristian Bertucca s’affirmait course après course comme un espoir sérieux parmi les 12-14 ans.
Sélectionnée et soutenue par la Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug confirmait sa progression en OK. Retardée par un abandon dans une manche, elle assurait une remontée de 8 places en finale pour atteindre la 11e position. Ce fut plus compliqué cette fois en OK-Junior pour Julia Ayoub qui poursuit néanmoins avec détermination son apprentissage de la haute compétition européenne.
Forte des enseignements de ce meeting, l’équipe Birel ART restait à Sarno pour participer dès le week-end prochain à l’ouverture de la WSK Euro Series sur le circuit napolitain.
