The FIA will provide support to the OK and OK-Junior competitors of the 2019 FIA Karting World Championship, taking place between 6th and 8th of September in Alahärmä, Finland.
In order to maintain the ever-growing number of international entries, the FIA has agreed to grant a financial contribution to the travel of the entrants competing in the two categories.
This further reiterates the FIA’s commitment to supporting grassroots motor sport at the base of the pyramid.
A total sum of €80,000 will be distributed among participants traveling to the Powerpark Mika Salo Circuit Alahärmä, located 400 km north of Finland’s capital city, Helsinki.

La FIA apportera son soutien aux compétiteurs OK et OK-Junior du Championnat du Monde FIA Karting 2019, qui se déroulera du 6 au 8 septembre à Alahärmä, Finlande.
Afin de maintenir le nombre sans cesse croissant d’inscriptions internationales, la FIA a accepté d’accorder une contribution financière aux frais de voyage des participants dans les deux catégories.
Ceci réitère l’engagement de la FIA à soutenir la base du sport automobile dès le premier échelon de la pyramide.
Une somme totale de 80 000 € sera répartie entre les participants qui se rendront au Powerpark Mika Salo Circuit d’Alahärmä, situé à 400 km au nord de la capitale finlandaise, Helsinki.
