2013 Alfredo Binda Trophy – UCI Women World Cup Stage; Laveno Mombello and Cittiglio are waiting for the stars of road cycling
Roads, roundabouts and walk ways are in great shape, the gardens are stunning, the arrival banner is up, the stage for the prize ceremony and the entering signature is ready, the stands and ropes are in place. Laveno Mombello and Cittiglio are just waiting for the stars of road cycling to arrive, 174 athletes that in the next two days will join us in the Varese province to race on Sunday. The 15th Alfredo Binda Trophy will see over one thousand people staying at accommodation facilities around Varese. A very positive note for this event, organised by Cycling Sport Promotion.
The race itinerary, from the start in Laveno Mombello to the arrival in Cittiglio, has already been indicated. Thousands of cycling enthusiasts will come to watch this amazing and imprevedible competition.
Just like last year, following the UCI ReCycling Project guide lines, people will be able to get to Cittiglio and Laveno Mombello by train. The promotional ticket price was agreed between Cycling Sport Promotion and Trenord.
Tonight we are already celebrating the partnership between Cittiglio and Camerota City Councils, come join us in “Piazza della Stazioneâ€.
Laveno Mombello is hosting a very interesting flower exhibition, â€Fiore all’occhielloâ€.
