“Una etapa dura de navegar en la que nos fue bien y consolidamos nuestra posición entre los cinco primeros. No tuvimos problemas. Solo un punto de paso que se quedó unos 300m a la derecha y dimos un poco de vuelta y lo encontramos. Fue una etapa rápida y sencilla y salvo la navegación no tenías demasiados inconvenientes. Está siendo un Dakar con mucha navegación, como debe der un Dakar en el que se puede recuperar tiempo haciendo buenas navegaciones y estar adelante ya que entre los vehículos hay muchas diferencias a nivel de prestaciones y no se les puede seguir”

706,2 km totales: Enlace: 209,73km, Especial: 401.74 km y Enlace 97,73 km
Una etapa con poco más de cuatrocientos kilómetros de especial y que contó con una neutralización de 60km por asfalto. Dunas con arena bastante firme debido a las lluvias de días anteriores, planicies muy rápidas, pistas poco visibles y entre piedras, un poco de todo, una especie de resumen de todo lo que se puede encontrar en el Dakar, incluida alguna zona húmeda, pero sin sustos como los del otro día y con complicaciones de navegación cambiado de valles cuando rodábamos por unos ríos secos en la última parte.
