Con l’arrivo in salita a La Planche des Belles Filles del 14 luglio, giorno della festa nazionale francese, si è conclusa la prima parte del Tour de France. 10 tappe di grandi emozioni che hanno portato la carovana gialla da Leeds, in Gran Bretagna nello Yorkshire, dove la corsa è scattata, fino al cuore della Francia.
I colori di Sidi sono il verde della maglia della classifica a punti indossata dallo slovacco Peter Sagan (Cannondale Pro Cycling) e il bianco a pois rossi della maglia che identifica il miglior scalatore indossata dallo spagnolo Purito Rodriguez (Katusha). Senza dimenticare la maglia bianca di miglior giovane portata per molti giorni dal bravissimo giovane polacco Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma).
Inoltre in questa prima parte di Tour Sidi ha firmato tre splendide vittorie di tappa. La prima ad Arenberg Porte du Hainault nella difficile e spettacolare tappa sul pavé vinta dall’olandese Lars Boom (Belkin). E’ seguito poi lo spettacolare arrivo di Nancy, dove in un testa a testa al photo finish tutto Sidi il giovane italiano Matteo Trentin (Omega Pharma) ha messo la sua ruota per un centimetro davanti a quella di Peter Sagan. E infine lo splendido arrivo trionfale in solitaria del tedesco Tony Martin (Omega Pharma) a Mulhouse. Tre perle firmate Sidi Sport, si perché ai piedi di tutti questi campioni ci sono le calzature Sidi Wire, il top di gamma della collezione Sidi per il ciclismo su strada.
Le emozioni non sono ancora finite, ora la Grande Boucle entra nel vivo. Prima ci sono le Alpi e poi i Pirenei senza dimenticare la cronometro di 54 km del penultimo giorno, prima della passerella finale a Parigi sugli Champs Elysées.
SIDI SHINES IN THE FIRST PART OF THE TOUR DE FRANCE
Green jersey, Polka dot jersey and three splendid stage victories
Maser (Treviso), 15 July, 2014 – The first part of the Tour de France came to its conclusion with the climbing arrival at La Planche des Belles Filles on July 14th, France’s national Bastille holiday. They were 10 very exciting stages that took the yellow caravan from its kick-off in Leeds, Yorkshire in Great Britain, all the way to the heart of France.
The Sidi colours are: green for the points jersey worn by Peter Sagan (Cannondale Pro Cycling) and the white and red polka dot jersey that identifies the best climber worn by Purito Rodriguez (Katusha). Not to mention the white jersey for the best young rider worn for several days by the brilliant Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma).
Furthermore, in this first part of the Tour, Sidi scored three splendid stage victories. The first one came in Arenberg Porte du Hainault in the difficult and spectacular stage on cobblestones won by Dutchman Lars Boom (Belkin). Then came the spectacular arrival in Nancy, where in an all-Sidi head-to-head photo finish Italian Matteo Trentin (Omega Pharma) got his tyre out by a centimetre in front of Peter Sagan. And finally there was the triumphant solo arrival by German Tony Martin (Omega Pharma) at Mulhouse. These three gems were also a score for Sidi Sport because at the feet of all these champions you can see their Sidi Wire shoes, the top of the line in the Sidi cycling collection for road racing.
And the excitement isn’t over yet; now the Grande Boucle is starting to get serious. First there will be the Alps and then the Pyrenees, not to mention the 54 km time trial on the second to last day, before the final showcase on the Champs Elysées.
