Per Area Zero D’Amico ci sono due classiche del calendario italiano prima di chiudere la stagione 2014. Sabato 11 ottobre la formazione continental tutta italiana diretta dai team manager Ivan de Paolis e Andrea Tonti sarà al via del Giro dell’Emilia. Domenica 12 poi pronta replica con il Gp Bruno Beghelli.
“Siamo alla fine della stagione ma affronteremo queste due prove importanti con l’impegno e la determinazione che Area Zero ha dimostrato in ogni occasione” spiega il team manager Ivan De Paolis. “Dove abbiamo gareggiato abbiamo sempre onorato la corsa nel migliore dei modi. Il Giro dell’Emilia è una prova che esige rispetto, l’arrivo in cima al San Luca ha sempre regalato spettacolo e messo in luce grandi corridori. Come sempre ne uscirà una corsa selettiva. Sarà una passerella importante per Area Zero e soprattutto un test di alto livello per i nostri giovani. Domenica poi al Gp Beghelli viste le caratteristiche del percorso in un possibile arrivo allo sprint ci auguriamo di vedere davanti le maglie Area Zero di Fabio Chinello o Andrea Pasqualon, che sono i nostri uomini dotati dello spunto più veloce, per provare a giocarci un risultato importante per chiudere in bellezza la stagione, ma non sarà facile perché la concorrenza è alta.”
Giornata speciale quella odierna per Area Zero D’Amico. Prima della sessione di allenamento mattutina i corridori e lo staff hanno visitato il museo della Ducati di Borgo Panigale (BO) e soprattutto hanno potuto accedere alla zona off-limits del famoso reparto corse, il fiore all’occhiello della Ducati. “Ringraziamo i dirigenti Ducati per questo regalo speciale che ci hanno fatto” dice Massimo Codol ex prof da quest’anno in ammiraglia con Area Zero e da sempre grande appassionato di moto e motori. “E’ stata una bella esperienza per tutta la squadra. Al museo si respira la storia di questo marchio da leggenda e al reparto corse è impressionate vedere tutto il lavoro di ricerca e la tecnologia che c’è alle spalle per portare le performance in pista al limite.”

AREA ZERO D’AMICO READY FOR THE GIRO DELL’EMILIA AND THE GP BEGHELLI
Today the team pays a visit to Ducati
For Area Zero D’Amico there are two classics to contend with on the Italian calendar before they wrap up the 2014 season. On Saturday, October 11th, the all-Italian continental team, lead by team managers Ivan de Paolis and Andrea Tonti, will be at the start for the Giro dell’Emilia. Sunday the 12th will see an immediate follow-up at the GP Bruno Beghelli.
“We’re at the end of the season but we will take on these two important tests with the commitment and determination that Area Zero has shown on every occasion,” explains team manager Ivan De Paolis. “Wherever we have competed we have always honored the race in the best way possible. The Giro dell’Emilia is a test that demands respect; the arrival at the top of San Luca has always been spectacular and shined a spotlight on great riders. As always it will turn out to be a selective race. It will be an important showcase for Area Zero and it will especially be a high level test for our riders. Then on Sunday at the Beghelli, considering the features of the route, in the event of a sprint arrival we hope to see the Area Zero jerseys out in front, with Fabio Chinello or Andrea Pasqualon, who are our fastest men, to try to play for an important result that will be a nice way to close out the season. However, it won’t be easy because the competition is fierce.”
Today is a special day for Area Zero D’Amico. Before the morning’s training session the riders and staff visited the Ducati museum in Borgo Panigale (Bologna) and furthermore they were able to visit some off-limits areas in the famous racing department, Ducati’s pride and joy. “We’d like to thank the Ducati management for this special gift they gave us,” says Massimo Codol, an ex-pro who started riding as sport director in the Area Zero team car this year and someone who has always been a huge motorcycling fan and motor head. “It was a nice experience for the entire team. At the museum you really get a sense of the history behind this legendary brand and in the racing section it’s impressive to see all the work in research and technology that goes into pushing performance to the limit on the racetrack.”
