A first win for Energy Corse in 2024
With six drivers entered in OK-Junior and four in Mini U10, the Energy Corse line-up was in fine form for the first major international event of the season: the WSK Champions Cup, held from 19th to 21st January at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. But quantity wasn’t the only highlight of the meeting, as the quality of the drivers and the performance of the equipment were also on display. Young Italian Niccolo Perico took a masterful victory in the Mini U10 class, while the other drivers in the Energy Corse team also showed great potential, with TM Kart engines playing an important role in the final result.
The off-season was short, but that didn’t stop Energy Corse from preparing perfectly for the 2024 season, so the Italian team was immediately able to show off its skills at this event, which attracted more than 300 drivers. Under the large structure bearing the famous blue-red-white colours, there was plenty of work for the technical staff, who were able to make the right choices despite the sometimes changeable and often cold weather conditions.
Niccolo Perico P1 in Mini U10
The Energy Corse chassis remains an undisputed benchmark in the Mini categories, and Italy’s Niccolo Perico proved this once again at Lonato: P3 in Qualifying, P1 after the heats with three wins out of four, P1 in the Prefinal and P1 in the Final. Well done Niccolo!
Mark Loomets and Danil Verba showed themselves capable of finishing regularly in the top five in the Qualifying Heats, often very close to the leaders. Loomets held on perfectly to his place in the top 20, while Verba deserved better as his 8th place in the Prefinal showed. Australian Petta Hudson fought hard to reach the Final.
Top eight for Henry Domain in OK-Junior
Renowned for the quality of its training, the Energy Corse team supported six drivers in OK-Junior at Lake Garda. Henry Domain was impressive. He set the fastest lap of the race in his first heat, and went on to take 2nd and 3rd places on Saturday. Another brilliant 2nd in the Prefinal, again with the best lap in the race, but the young Brit unfortunately had a difficult start to the Final before coming back brilliantly in P8.
Vladimir Ivannikov also scored a convincing result with 12th place, given that he was still in Mini a year earlier.
Aloïs Girardet turned a corner during the meeting, managing to finish P4 in his final heat and P7 in the Prefinal, running on par with the fastest times. A difficult start in the Final forced him to settle for 19th place.
In this category with 63 entries, Makar Savelev secured his place in the Final thanks to an excellent Prefinal. He then got off to an excellent start, but a race incident put an end to his comeback.
Matvei Dergunov, a newcomer from the Mini category, made great progress during this WSK Champions Cup. Georgiy Zasov showed himself to be faster and faster and should quickly climb the rankings this season.
Energy Corse win in Dubai!
A long way from Italy, in the United Arab Emirates, Jenson Chalk and the Xcel Motorsport Energy Dubai Team dominated the O Plate event in Rotax Mini Max. Energy Corse congratulates them on their performance and wishes the best to all the teams representing the Italian brand around the world.
Già una prima vittoria per Energy Corse nel 2024
Con sei piloti iscritti nella OK-Junior e quattro nella Mini U10, la formazione Energy Corse si è presentata in forma al primo grande evento internazionale della stagione: la WSK Champions Cup, svoltasi dal 19 al 21 gennaio sul circuito South Garda Karting di Lonato. Ma la quantità non è stata l’unico punto di forza dell’incontro, perché anche la qualità dei piloti e le prestazioni dei kart non sono mancate. Il giovane italiano Niccolò Perico ha conquistato una vittoria magistrale nella Mini U10, mentre anche gli altri piloti del team Energy Corse hanno mostrato un grande potenziale, con i motori TM Kart che hanno giocato un ruolo importante nel risultato finale.
Il periodo di pausa è stato breve, ma ciò non ha impedito a Energy Corse di prepararsi alla perfezione per la stagione 2024, per cui il team italiano ha potuto subito mettere in mostra le sue capacità in questo evento, che ha attirato più di 300 piloti. Sotto la grande struttura con i famosi colori bianco-rosso-blu, non è mancato il lavoro per lo staff tecnico, che ha saputo fare le scelte giuste nonostante le condizioni climatiche a volte mutevoli e spesso fredde.
Niccolò Perico P1 nella Mini U10
Il telaio Energy Corse rimane un punto di riferimento indiscusso nelle categorie Mini e l’italiano Niccolò Perico lo ha dimostrato ancora una volta a Lonato: P3 in qualifica, P1 dopo le manche con tre vittorie su quattro, P1 in prefinale e P1 in finale. Complimenti Niccolò!
Mark Loomets e Danil Verba si sono dimostrati capaci di finire regolarmente nella Top-5 nelle manche di qualificazione, spesso molto vicini ai leader. Loomets ha mantenuto perfettamente il suo posto nella Top-20, mentre Verba avrebbe meritato di più, come dimostra il suo ottavo posto in prefinale. L’australiano Petta Hudson ha lottato duramente per raggiungere la finale.
Top-8 per Henry Domain nella OK-Junior
Rinomato per la qualità dei suoi allenamenti, il team Energy Corse ha accompagnato sei piloti nella OK-Junior sul lago di Garda. Henry Domain è stato impressionante. Autore del giro più veloce della gara nella sua prima manche, ha poi conquistato il secondo e il terzo posto il sabato. Un altro brillante secondo posto in prefinale, sempre con il miglior giro in gara, il giovane britannico ha purtroppo avuto un inizio difficile in finale, prima di rimontare brillantemente in P8.
Anche Vladimir Ivannikov ha ottenuto un risultato convincente con il 12° posto, considerando che un anno prima era ancora nella Mini.
Aloïs Girardet ha svoltato durante il meeting, riuscendo a concludere in P4 la sua manche finale e in P7 la prefinale, girando con i tempi migliori. Una partenza difficile in finale lo ha costretto ad accontentarsi del 19° posto.

Lontano dall’Italia, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, Jenson Chalk e il Team Xcel Motorsport Energy Dubai hanno dominato l’evento O Plate nella Rotax Mini Max. Energy Corse si congratula con loro per la prestazione e augura il meglio a tutti i team che rappresentano il marchio italiano nel mondo.
Déjà une première victoire pour Energy Corse en 2024
Avec 6 pilotes engagés en OK-Junior et 4 en Mini U10, la line-up Energy Corse avait fière allure pour la première grande épreuve internationale de la saison : la WSK Champions Cup, organisée du 19 au 21 janvier sur le South Garda Karting de Lonato. La quantité n’était pas le seul élément marquant du meeting, car la qualité des pilotes était au rendez-vous, tout comme la performance du matériel. Le jeune Italien Niccolo Perico a remporté une magistrale victoire en Mini U10, tandis que les autres pilotes du team Energy Corse ont également démontré un fort potentiel, avec des moteurs TM Kart qui ont joué un rôle important dans le résultat final.
L’intersaison fut courte, mais cela n’a pas empêché Energy Corse de préparer parfaitement cette saison 2024, si bien que l’équipe italienne a immédiatement pu se mettre en valeur lors de cette épreuve qui comptait plus de 300 pilotes. Sous la grande structure portant les célèbres couleurs bleu-rouge-blanc, le travail n’a pas manqué pour le staff technique, qui a su faire les bons choix malgré des conditions climatiques parfois changeantes et souvent froides.
Niccolo Perico P1 en Mini U10
Le châssis Energy Corse reste incontestablement une référence dans les catégories Mini, l’Italien Niccolo Perico en a encore donné la preuve à Lonato: P3 en qualification, P1 après les manches après 3 victoires sur 4, P1 en préfinale et P1 en finale. Bravo Niccolo !
Mark Loomets et Danil Verba se sont montrés capables de terminer régulièrement dans le top-5 dans les manches de qualification, souvent très proches des leaders. Loomets a parfaitement tenu sa place dans le top-20, tandis que Verba méritait mieux comme l’a montré sa 8e position en préfinale. L’Australien Petta Hudson s’est bien battu pour atteindre la finale.
Top-8 pour Henry Domain en OK-Junior
Réputé pour sa qualité de formation, le team Energy Corse a accompagné 6 pilotes en OK-Junior du côté du lac de Garde. Henry Domain s’est montré impressionnant. Auteur du meilleur tour en course dès sa première manche, il s’offrait ensuite des places de 2e et de 3e le samedi. Encore brillant 2e en préfinale, à nouveau avec le meilleur tour en course, le jeune Britannique a hélas vécu un début de finale difficile, avant de revenir brillamment P8.
Vladimir Ivannikov décroche également un résultat probant avec la 12e place, sachant qu’il était encore en Mini un an plus tôt.
Aloïs Girardet a passé un cap durant le meeting, en parvenant à finir P4 de sa dernière manche et P7 en préfinale en tournant dans les temps des meilleurs. Un départ difficile en finale l’a contraint à se contenter de la 19e place.
Dans cette catégorie comptant 63 inscrits, Makar Savelev a su sécuriser sa place en finale grâce à une excellente préfinale. Il a ensuite réalisé un excellent départ, mais un incident de course a mis fin à sa remontée.
Tout juste arrivé de la catégorie Mini, Matvei Dergunov a beaucoup progressé lors de cette WSK Champions Cup. Georgiy Zasov s’est montré de plus en plus rapide et devrait vite grimper dans la hiérarchie cette saison.
Victoire Energy Corse à Dubaï !
Bien loin de l’Italie, aux Emirats Arabes Unis, Jenson Chalk et le team Xcel Motorsport Energy Dubaï Team ont dominé l’épreuve O Plate en Rotax Mini Max. Energy Corse les félicite pour cette performance et souhaite le meilleur pour tous les teams qui représentent la marque italienne dans le monde.
