Megan Jastrab ha vinto oggi a Cittiglio il 7° trofeo Da Moreno – Mini Trofeo Alfredo Binda, gara d’apertura della Coppa delle Nazioni Junior 2019.
La statunitense ha preso le misure con il gruppo già nella prima fase della corsa, scattando poco dopo la partenza e vincendo il primo sprint a Cittiglio, dopo 22 chilometri da via. Poi la Jastrab è tornata in gruppo ed ha risposto agli attacchi delle avversarie dimostrando di poter controllare la corsa con facilità. In volata Megan Jastrab ha regolato il gruppo con netta superiorità
Al secondo posto si è piazzata Gaia Masetti (VC Breganze), al terzo posto la francese Lea Curinier

Megan Jastrab, USA, takes home the 7th Trofeo Da Moreno – Mini-Trofeo A. Binda
Megan Jastrab won the 7th Trofeo Da Moreno – Mini-Trofeo Alfredo Binda, opening race of the Junior Women’s Nations Cup 2019, today in Cittiglio. The American rider took the measure of the group already in the first phase of the race, breaking away shortly after the start and winning the first sprint in Cittiglio, just 22 km from the start. Jastrab then rejoined the group and responded to various attacks from adversaries, demonstrating that she was in control of the race. In the final sprint, Megan Jastrab was noticeably superior to the rest of the group.
Gaia Massetti (VC Breganze) took second place, while French rider Lea Curinier came third.
