Area Zero D’Amico è pronta a riprendere con grinta e determinazione il suo percorso agonistico.
La prossima settimana la giovane squadra continental tutta italiana diretta da Ivan De Paolis e Andrea Tonti vede in agenda tre appuntamenti molto importanti. Dopo l’esperienza sudamericana al Giro di Colombia del mese di agosto si torna a correre in Italia, per la precisione sulle strade della Lombardia. Ad attendere Area Zero D’Amico c’è infatti il Trittico Lombardo, un classico di fine estate. Tre gare di lunga tradizione e grande fascino. Si comincia martedì 16 settembre con la 96a Coppa Bernocchi, con traguardo a Legnano, si prosegue mercoledì 17 con la 68a Coppa Agostoni, in Brianza a Lissone, e gran finale giovedì 18 con la 94a Tre Valli Varesine.
Sarà un Area Zero D’Amico al gran completo. Per il Trittico Lombardo infatti sono stati convocati tutti gli 11 corridori che compongono la rosa del team: Giovanni Carboni, Fabio Chinello, Paolo Ciavatta, Silvio Giorni, Gianluca Leonardi, Gianluca Mengardo, Andrea Pasqualon, Charly Petelin, Simone Petilli, Marco Tecchio e Stefano Tonin. Come sempre a dirigere i ragazzi ci saranno i direttori sportivi Andrea Tonti e Massimo Codol.
“Tre gare per ripartire che sono importanti per tradizione, fascino e livello tecnico” spiega il team manager Ivan De Paolis. “Potremo contare su tutta la squadra. In base al regolamento le squadre continental, come siamo noi, in ogni gara potranno schierare 6 corridori, quindi faremo del turn-over tra i ragazzi scegliendo i più adatti per ogni prova, tenendo conto della loro condizione e delle caratteristiche del percorso. Ci misureremo con squadre e corridori molto forti che passeranno da qui per preparare il mondiale, per noi sarà una vetrina importante e la nostra squadra come sempre darà il massimo per cercare di mettersi in evidenza. Ormai ci avviamo al finale di stagione, ma basta dare uno sguardo al calendario per capire che le prossime settimane per noi saranno fondamentali. Ci attendono molte gare, dopo il Trittico Lombardo faremo il Memorial Pantani, il GP Prato e poi tutte le prove italiane della prima parte di ottobre.”

AREA ZERO D’AMICO: SETTING OFF AGAIN WITH THE TRIPLE ACT IN LOMBARDY CALLED TRITICO LOMBARDO
Coppa Bernocchi on the 16th,Coppa Agostoni on the 17th and the Tre Valli Varesine on the 18th of September
With guts and determination, Area Zero D’Amico is ready to get back to their competitive schedule. Next week the young, all Italian continental team led by Ivan De Paolis and Andrea Tonti have three very important events on their agenda. After the South American experience at the Giro di Colombia in the month of August, they are back to racing in Italy, more precisely on the roads in Lombardy. In fact the guys on Area Zero D’Amico are looking forward to the Trittico Lombardo, an end of summer classic. These are three races that all adhere to a long tradition and offer fantastic appeal. It all starts on Tuesday, September 16th with the 96th Coppa Bernocchi, with the finish line in Legnano; it will be followed on Wednesday the 17th by the 68th Coppa Agostoni, at Lissone in Brianza, and the grand finale will be on Thursday the 18th with the 94th Tre Valli Varesine.
Area Zero D’Amico will have a full house for the Trittico Lombardo; in fact, all 11 riders who make up the ranks of the team have been called upon: Giovanni Carboni, Fabio Chinello, Paolo Ciavatta, Silvio Giorni, Gianluca Leonardi, Gianluca Mengardo, Andrea Pasqualon, Charly Petelin, Simone Petilli, Marco Tecchio and Stefano Tonin. As always, the guys will be managed by sports coaches Andrea Tonti and Massimo Codol.
“To get back into the action, these three races are important for their tradition, appeal and technical level” explains team manager Ivan De Paolis. “We will be able to count on the entire team. According to the rules and regulations, continental teams like ours will be able to line up six riders in each race, so there will be a turn-over among the guys and we’ll be choosing those most suited to each test, keeping in mind their physical condition and the features of the route. We’ll be measuring up against very strong teams and riders who will be passing through here to prepare for the World Cup. For us it will be an important showcase and as always our team will give it their utmost to try to stand out. We are heading toward the end of the season but it’s enough to just take a look at the schedule to understand that these next weeks will be essential for us. We’ll be competing in lots of races; after the Trittico Lombardo we’ll be doing the Memorial Pantani, the Prato GP and then all the Italian trials in the first half of October.”
