Stuttgart — The planned division of #daimler Mobility into two independent financial services companies for the car and van business and the #truck and bus business is leading to changes on the Board of Management. #stephanunger (54), the long-term Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is to take on the leadership of the new company-owned financial services unit of #daimler #truck AG and join the Board of Management of #daimler #truck AG with effect from 1 July 2021. #stephanunger was appointed CFO in 2012 and has until now been responsible for Finance & Controlling, Risk Management and Digital Mobility solutions.

The Supervisory Board has appointed #gerritmichaelduelks (41) as the new Chief Financial Officer of #daimler Mobility AG with effect from 1 July 2021. As a member of the #daimler FC Executive Committee he will report to Harald Wilhelm and Franz Reiner, CEO of #daimler Mobility.
Gerrit-Michael Duelks began his professional career at Deloitte & Touche and joined #daimler AG, where he held various positions in #corporate Audit, in 2007. In 2014 he moved to the company then known as #daimler Financial Services AG and held a number of management positions in its Finance and Controlling unit in Singapore, China, Korea and Germany. At the end of 2019 he took on global responsibility for #corporate Controlling and Risk Management at today’s #daimler Mobility AG.
