Not long ago, Charles Leclerc announced the launch of his own range of kart chassis, produced in the Birel ART factory.
The news has made a big impact in the industry and beyond thanks to the incredible popularity of the Monegasque prodigy whose recent exploits at the wheel of his Ferrari F1 have delighted motorsport enthusiasts around the world.
According to Charles’ wishes, the chassis bearing his colours need to shine in competition in order to broaden their audience and attract as many drivers as possible. Since the launch of this great adventure, Birel ART had decided to equip the Charles Leclerc brand with its own racing department as soon as possible. The choice quickly turned to the Lennox Racing team, led by a 27-year-old Briton, Jordon Lennox Lamb, a former top-level driver and dynamic team manager.
“I have always had a good relationship with Birel ART and in particular with Ronni Sala,” Jordon said. “In my career, I have driven Lissone chassis on many occasions. In particular, I achieved one of my best results, vice-World KF Champion in 2015 at La Conca, at the wheel of an official Birel ART. This cannot be forgotten. Since then, I have proven myself as a team manager within my own team. 2020 will mark an important turning point for me. I am very proud that my team has been chosen to collaborate with the new Charles Leclerc brand in competition. It is a new and exciting challenge to take up, especially as Birel ART has just celebrated its 60th anniversary with a World KZ Championship.”
During his long career as a driver, between 1999 and 2017, Jordon Lennox Lamb gained extensive experience in all categories on the greatest international circuits. Renowned for his fighting spirit, he is also known for his development skills. For the past two years, despite his youth, he has established himself as one of the most competent team managers. In particular, he knows how to train young drivers in all aspects of today’s racing.
“I know Jordon well because I have faced him many times in karting,” said Charles Leclerc. “I have always appreciated his very competitive spirit and his desire to win. I am delighted that my race department is under the responsibility of a young and dynamic team manager like him.”
Under the Charles Leclerc chassis banner, the Lennox Racing team, based in Lonato (ITA) will compete in a full international season in 2020 with the full support of the Birel ART factory. The list of its drivers will be announced soon. The Lennox Racing team also distributes Charles Leclerc chassis in Italy.

Recentemente, Charles Leclerc ha annunciato il lancio della sua linea di kart, prodotta negli stabilimenti Birel ART. La notizia ha fatto scalpore nell’ambiente, e non solo, grazie all’incredibile popolarità del giovane prodigio monegasco i cui recenti exploit al volante della sua Ferrari F1 hanno infiammato gli appassionati di motorsport di tutto il mondo.
Assecondando i desideri di Charles, i telai che avranno il suo brand dovranno avere successo in gara per attrarre pubblico e stimolare l’interesse per questo sport in un numero sempre maggiore di persone. Birel ART aveva deciso sin dal lancio di questa bella avventura di dotare il più velocemente possibile il marchio Charles Leclerc di un suo reparto corse. La scelta è subito caduta sul team Lennox Racing, diretto da un inglese di 27 anni, Jordon Lennox Lamb, ex-pilota di alto livello e team manager dinamico.
“Ho sempre avuto degli ottimi rapporti con Birel ART e in particolare con Ronni Sala”, ha dichiarato Jordon. “Nella mia carriera, ho guidato dei kart del marchio di Lissone in numerose occasioni. Ho anche ottenuto uno dei miei migliori risultati, vicecampione del mondo KF nel 2015 a La Conca, al volante di un Birel ART ufficiale. E questo non si dimentica. Poi ho fatto le mie esperienze come team manager all’interno di una scuderia tutta mia. Era destino che il 2020 sarebbe stato l’anno della svolta. Sono molto fiero che la mia squadra sia stata scelta per collaborare con la nuova marca Charles Leclerc in competizione. È una nuova sfida molto entusiasmante tanto più che Birel ART ha appena festeggiato il suo 60°anniversario con un titolo di Campione del mondo KZ.”
Nel corso della sua lunga carriera da pilota, tra il 1999 e il 2017, Jordon Lennox Lamb ha acquisito una grossa esperienza in tutte le categorie sui maggiori circuiti internazionali. Noto per la sua combattività, si è anche distinto per le sue qualità di sviluppatore. Negli ultimi due anni ha saputo imporsi, nonostante la sua giovane età, come uno dei team manager più competenti. Sa anche come comportarsi per formare i giovani piloti e insegnare loro tutti gli aspetti necessari per gareggiare oggi.
“Conosco bene Jordon perché siamo stati avversari molte volte nelle gare di karting”, ha confidato Charles Leclerc. “Ho sempre apprezzato il suo spirito molto competitivo e la sua voglia di vincere. Sono contento che il mio reparto corse sia sotto la responsabilità di un giovane team manager dinamico come lui.”
Con i kart firmati Charles Leclerc, il team Lennox Racing, sede a Lonato (ITA), disputerà a partire dal 2020 una stagione internazionale completa con il supporto totale dell’azienda Birel ART. I nomi dei piloti che faranno parte del team saranno annunciati prossimamente. Il team Lennox Racing distribuisce anche i telai Charles Leclerc in Italia.

Selon les vœux de Charles, les châssis arborant ses couleurs se devaient de briller en compétition afin d’élargir leur audience et de susciter des vocations chez le plus grand nombre. Birel ART avait décidé depuis le lancement de cette belle aventure de doter le plus rapidement possible la marque Charles Leclerc de son propre service course. Le choix s’est vite orienté vers le team Lennox Racing, dirigé par un Britannique de 27 ans, Jordon Lennox Lamb, ancien pilote de haut niveau et team manager dynamique.
« J’ai toujours entretenu de bons rapports avec Birel ART et en particulier avec Ronni Sala », déclarait Jordon. « Dans ma carrière, j’ai piloté des châssis de la marque de Lissone en de nombreuses occasions. J’ai notamment obtenu un de mes meilleurs résultats, vice-Champion du Monde KF en 2015 à La Conca, au volant d’un Birel ART officiel. Cela ne s’oublie pas. Depuis, j’ai fait mes preuves en tant que team manager au sein de ma propre structure. Il était écrit que 2020 marquerait un tournant important pour moi. Je suis très fier que mon team ait été choisi pour collaborer avec la nouvelle marque Charles Leclerc en compétition. C’est un nouveau challenge très enthousiasmant à relever d’autant que Birel ART vient de fêter son 60e anniversaire avec un titre de Champion du Monde KZ ».
Au long de sa longue carrière de pilote, entre 1999 et 2017, Jordon Lennox Lamb s’est forgé une expérience très large dans toutes les catégories sur les plus grands circuits internationaux. Réputé pour sa combativité, il est également reconnu pour ses qualités de metteur au point. Depuis deux ans, il a su s’imposer malgré sa jeunesse comme un team manager des plus compétents. Il sait notamment comment s’y prendre pour former les jeunes pilotes à tous les aspects de la compétition actuelle.
« Je connais bien Jordon pour l’avoir affronté à de nombreuses reprises en karting », confiait Charles Leclerc. « J’ai toujours apprécié son esprit très compétitif et sa soif de gagner. Je suis ravi que mon service course soit placé sous la responsabilité d’un jeune team manager dynamique comme lui. »
Sous la bannière des châssis Charles Leclerc, le team Lennox Racing basé à Lonato (ITA) disputera dès 2020 une saison internationale complète avec le soutien total de l’usine Birel ART. La liste de ses pilotes sera annoncée prochainement. Le team Lennox Racing assure par ailleurs la distribution des châssis Charles Leclerc en Italie.
