Si svolgerà dal 14 al 17 marzo la nuova edizione di “Convergence”, il tradizionale meeting di formazione e aggiornamento professionale che Ferretti Group dedica ai comandanti e ai direttori di macchina di navi e imbarcazioni della propria flotta.
”Convergence” 2017 si terrà nella cornice internazionale di Ljubljana, in Slovenia, con un intenso programma
di sessioni in aula e attività outdoor che coinvolgeranno decine di professionisti provenienti da tutto il mondo,
impegnati in corsi di aggiornamento e sfide in gruppo che permetteranno, oltre ad approfondire nuove
tematiche tecniche, di visitare la città ospitante.
I seminari saranno tenuti dai main sponsor di “Convergence” 2017, consolidati partner tecnologici del Gruppo
come Cummins, Cummins Onan, MAN, Pantaenius, Rina, Seakeeper e Willis Towers Watson.
L’intento delle quattro giornate è promuovere un confronto diretto sia sui temi legati alla gestione degli yacht e
delle navi Ferretti Group che sulla prevenzione e la gestione dei rischi e della sicurezza a bordo.
Nella giornata d’apertura il Top Management e la Direzione Engineering illustreranno i nuovi progetti
presentati fra fine 2016 e inizio 2017, in costruzione nei cantieri del Gruppo, e le tecnologie più innovative
installate a bordo, oltre ad aggiornare la platea sull’importante attività di refitting di grandi navi che si sta
sviluppando nella rinnovata Super Yacht Yard di Ancona, in aggiunta alla realizzazione dei nuovi maxi yacht e
navi a marchio CRN, Riva Superyachts Division, Pershing e Custom Line.
A completamento delle attività formative, i partecipanti saranno coinvolti in appassionanti sfide in team.
Obiettivo: fortificare il senso di appartenenza e il piacere di stare insieme, per rinnovare ancora una volta
l’impegno del Gruppo nei confronti di questi importanti professionisti del mare, fondamentali nell’assicurare
agli armatori una serena e indimenticabile esperienza in mare.

Ferretti Group presents “Convergence” 2017: the top professional training event
for captains and chief engineers working aboard the Group’s yachts
March 14th to 17th are the dates set aside for this year’s “Convergence”,
the traditional meeting with professional training and refresher courses that Ferretti Group offers captains and
chief engineers working on the yachts in its fleet.
“Convergence” 2017 will be held in the international setting of Ljubljana in Slovenia, with an intense schedule
of classroom sessions and outdoor events, bringing together tens of professionals from all over the world and
involving them in refresher courses and group challenges designed to explore new technical developments as
well as the host city.
The seminars will be held by the main sponsors of “Convergence” 2017, the Group’s consolidated technology
partners, including Cummins, Cummins Onan, MAN, Pantaenius, Rina, Seakeeper and Willis Towers
Watson.
The intention of the four day event is to promote direct discussion of topics linked to the management of
Ferretti Group’s yachts and craft as well as issues related to the prevention and management of risks and
safety on board.
On day one, the Top Management and Engineering Team will illustrate the new projects presented between
the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, currently being built at the Group’s yards, and the most innovative
technologies fitted on board. They will also bring the audience up to date as regards the major refitting of large
yachts currently underway at the modernised Super Yacht Yard at Ancona, in addition to the new maxi yachts
and craft under construction for the CRN, Riva Superyachts Division, Pershing and Custom Line brands.
The training activities will be completed by exciting team challenges involving the attendees. The purpose: to
boost the feeling of belonging to a group and the enjoyment of being together, once again refreshing the
Group’s commitment towards these top sea-faring professionals who play a vital role in assuring owners a
serene and unforgettable experience at sea.
