La Russia si conferma assoluta protagonista alla Winter Universiade Trentino 2013 e conquista la decima medaglia d’oro trionfando nella 12,5 km Pursuit maschile di biathlon a Lago di Tesero, in Val di Fiemme.
La gara, decisa allo sprint, è stata vinta dal russo Aleksandr Pechenkin davanti al compagno di squadra Sergei Kliachin. Bronzo per Alexei Kalievich Almoukov, che ha regalato la prima medaglia all’Australia.

PECHENKIN TOOK GOLD IN BIATHLON’S PURSUIT
FIRST MEDAL (BRONZE) FOR AUSTRALIA
Russia’s Aleksandr Pechenkin won the Biathlon Men’s Pursuit (12.5km) at the 26th Winter Universiade Trentino 2013 with the time of 35:09.9.
His team-mate Sergei Kliachin (+0.4) got the silver medal while Alexei Kalievich Almoukov (AUS, +0.8) was 3rd.
In the Yesterday’s Sprint, Pechenkin was 4th.
