The Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona celebrates the launch of the brand’s first super yacht over 300 GT.
The great expectations raised by the magnificent Navetta 42 have been rewarded today with her launch at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
The result of a design process that has kept the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Group Engineering Department and Studio Zuccon International Project busy for more than two years, the new superyacht projects a vision of the sea expressed by design in motion, sophisticated elegance and extraordinary performance.
Both the interiors and exteriors of the new Navetta 42 can be extensively customised, so that each owner can create their own dream boat. The layout optimises the way the generous spaces are used, adopting an innovative and attentive approach to the organisation of the interiors and particularly the outdoor settings, which exploit the four decks to the full to offer the utmost privacy and comfort at sea. A huge suite on the main deck is reserved for the owner, while the layout on the lower deck features four VIP suites. The captain has a spacious living area forward on the upper deck, with a private cabin and direct access to the main helm station.
All the interiors of the first Navetta 42 unit have been customised according to both the owner’s desires and the perfectly tailor-made style embodied by Custom Line, which is expressed at its very highest bespoke level in the Navetta line.

It wasn’t easy in a boat this size to combine function with aesthetic form, using every possible space available, but the end result is fantastic. Navetta 42 confirms once again that the launch of a Custom Line unit is a magical moment, one that in this particular case follows closely on the heels of the fifth Navetta 37 unit and the fourth Navetta 33. Three more Navetta 42 units are already under construction.
The backdrop for all these recent success stories is the Superyacht Yard in Ancona, the Ferretti Group shipyard that is now rightfully held up as a centre of European excellence.
Navetta 42 will be given its official debut in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 6-11) and the Monaco Yacht Show (September 26-29).

La grande aspettativa, grande quasi quanto la magnifica Navetta 42, è giunta al termine: la prima unità è stata varata oggi nella Superyacht Yard di Ferretti Group di Ancona.
Risultato di un percorso progettuale che ha impegnato per più di due anni il Comitato Strategico di Prodotto presieduto dall’Ing. Piero Ferrari, Dipartimento Engineering del Gruppo e lo Studio Zuccon International Project, il nuovo super yacht esprime una visione del mare che ci racconta di design in movimento, eleganza sofisticata e prestazioni straordinarie.
Ampiamente personalizzabile – negli interni come negli esterni – la nuova Navetta 42 consente a ogni armatore di realizzare l’imbarcazione dei desideri. La disposizione degli ambienti interni utilizza al meglio i generosi volumi a bordo, grazie anche ad un innovativa e attenta organizzazione degli spazi, in particolare quegli esterni che sfruttano al meglio i 4 ponti per la massima privacy e comfort in navigazione. Una vasta suite sul ponte principale è dedicata all’armatore, mentre il layout del ponte inferiore prevede un allestimento con 4 VIP. Al comandante è dedicata un’ampia zona a prua del ponte superiore con cabina privata e accesso diretto alla plancia di comando principale.
La zona di poppa è un grande beach club a livello del mare, dedicato allo svago degli ospiti. A esaltare la funzione ludica dell’area contribuisce il nuovo sistema di varo e alaggio di tender e water toys dal garage, che si apre lateralmente sul mare.
Tutti gli allestimenti interni della prima unità di Navetta 42 sono stati personalizzati secondo i desideri dell’armatore, secondo il perfetto stile tailor-made di Custom Line che con la linea Navetta propone il più alto e ricercato livello di bespoke.
“Navetta 42 è un grande sogno divenuto realtà, un maxi yacht realizzato con la cura di un vestito di sartoria. Non era facile, in una barca così grande, unire funzionalità ed estetica utilizzando al meglio tutti gli spazi: il risultato finale è fantastico. Ringrazio l’architetto e tutto il personale Custom Line che hanno tradotto in stile e bellezza i miei desideri, Navetta 42 è un’opera d’arte nautica unica, che sento veramente mia.” Ha commentato l’armatore italiano della nave.
Navetta 42 conferma ancora una volta il momento magico di Custom Line: il varo della nuova ammiraglia segue infatti di pochi giorni il varo della quinta unità di Navetta 37 e della quarta unità di Navetta 33. Tre sono invece le Navetta 42 già in fase di costruzione.
