After the first two fractions, the third stage will descend to the south central part of the country. It will be a fast, flat stage. Once again here there should be another chance for the fast sprinters in the group.
The stage starts in Kielce, an important business center and home to the expo space called Fiera Kielce, which holds second place as one of the most popular expos and markets in Poland. The arrival will be set up in Rzeszów, an administrative, economic and cultural hub in the Southeast of Poland. In 1991, during his 4th pilgrimage in Poland, Pope John Paul II paid a visit to this capital of the Podkarpacz region. The stage final will take place on the same circuit which saw the Viking Thor Hushovd win with arms raised in 2013.
