Bike Division, il tour operator fondato da Andrea Tonti, ex ciclista professionista, specializzato nell’organizzazione di vacanze in bicicletta per cicloturisti e ciclisti amatoriali nelle località più belle del mondo è lieto di annunciare una grande novità. Bike Division è diventato il partner ufficiale ed esclusivo della Granfondo Gran Canaria.
L’accordo è stato ufficializzato a Madrid nel corso dell’incontro tra Francisco Salas direttore di Novocyclo, società organizzatrice dell’evento, e Andrea Tonti Co-Founder, Events Manager & Sports Consultant di Bike Division. “Siamo molto orgogliosi e fiduciosi per questa nuova partnership che prospetta per Bike Division un’ulteriore cescita da tour operator specializzato nel prodotto bike, che resta comunque il nostro core business, a partner ufficiale incaricato alla gestione dell’incoming per i grandi eventi sportivi” spiega Andrea Tonti.
In virtù di questo accordo Bike Division sarà anche l’account internazionale per tutti coloro che vorranno iscriversi alla Granfondo Gran Canaria.
La Granfondo Gran Canaria (http://granfondograncanaria.com/en/) è in programma domenica 12 febbraio 2017. Si tratta della prima edizione, ma c’è grande entusiasmo e fermento attorno a questo evento spagnolo che si annuncia molto partecipato e con un’organizzazione di prim’ordine sin dal suo esordio sulla scena internazionale delle granfondo. Si perché la Granfondo Gran Canaria diventa l’evento che mancava al mondo delle due ruote per aprire alla grande la nuova stagione.
Quest’isola che per eccellenza è la più frequentata nel periodo invernale dai ciclisti professionisti e dai cicloturisti di tutto il mondo ora ha un evento tutto suo che si propone di riunire ciclisti di ogni livello provenienti dai cinque continenti a pedalare tutti insieme nel primo grande appuntamento dell’anno. Una prova che metterà in bella evidenza il potenziale che quest’isola stupenda ha da offrire alla tribù delle due ruote: dal punto di vista tecnico dei percorsi, dal punto di vista paesaggistico e sotto il profilo dell’ospitalità turistica.
Partenza e arrivo della gara sono fissati a Maspalomas, nella parte più famosa dell’isola, nei pressi del faro, sulla punta meridionale di Gran Canaria, la sfida presenta 195 chilometri attraverso uno spettacolare tour dell’intera isola tropicale che il cuore dell’arcipelago delle Canarie, territorio battente bandiera Spagnola ma collocato nel bel mezzo dell’Ocenao Atlantico al largo delle coste del Marocco.
“Ritengo che la Granfondo Gran Canaria abbia un enorme potenziale tenendo conto di quello che l’isola è in grado di offrire a chi pedala. Le garanzie arrivano dal fatto che i ciclisti delle più forti squadre al mondo scelgono questa località per prepararsi e iniziare al meglio la stagione agonistica. E’ sulle strade delle Canarie che i top riders gettano le basi per costruire poi le loro vittorie nelle corse più importanti al mondo. Io posso parlare per esperienza personale in virtù dei ritiri fatti qui nella mia carriera professionistica lavorando al fianco dei miei capitani. Al di là di questo per chi ama la bicicletta venire alle Canarie è sicuramente una bellissima esperienza. Si pedala circondati da scenari suggestivi con lo sguardo che si apre sull’oceano, lontano dal traffico e dal caos delle città. La bicicletta è un target importante per le Canarie, per questo il governo dell’isola ha lavorato molto per migliorare il manto stradale e soprattutto per trovare delle alternative viarie per le auto, favorendo così in particolare i ciclisti. Inoltre c’è l’aspetto del clima che anche in pieno inverno qui garantisce medie con temperature minime mai al di sotto dei 16 gradi e massime attorno ai 25/26 gradi °C, l’ideale per chi pedala” spiega Andrea Tonti Co-Founder, Events Manager & Sports Consultant di Bike Division.
