Juan Manuel Correa has his seat in the Charouz Racing System Team car ready and tomorrow he will feel again the sensations of an F2 car, after having spent this season at the wheel of an F3 car of the ART Team, with which he scored points since the first racing weekend in Spain..
Going out of the garage accelerating with an F2 car will surely be an exciting moment for Juan Manuel. If at Paul Ricard earlier this year he drove again, on that occasion in an F3 car, in a private test, now it’s time to go one step further and this one will be exciting and emotional..
“I’m excited about the three days of testing I’ll be doing in Abu Dhabi with the Charouz Racing System Team. It will be the first time I’ll be back in an F2 car after the accident in August 2019 and I’ll be doing it with the same team I raced with in 2019, which will be even more emotional. I’m really looking forward to being able to compare myself to the driver I was then, and it will also be the first time I’ll be driving an F2 car with 18″ wheels. I am also nervous, although I have already been working with the team in preparation for this test. I arrived in Dubai on Tuesday night and today I have already taken my seat and we have been in contact again. I’m looking forward to seeing how things go, especially thinking about what might come in 2022. I will accumulate a good amount of kilometres and more experience with this car”, says Juan Manuel Correa, who will be on track tomorrow alongside Brazilian Guilherme Samaia.
