Juan Manuel Correa had the chance this week to test the LPM2 that Prema Team, in association with Iron Lynx, will use to participate in the 2022 WEC.
“I couldn’t miss this opportunity to try a new experience and I didn’t want to let the chance Prema gave me go. Two months without driving were too much, so I travelled to Paul Ricard to spend these two days trying something new”, explained Juan Manuel, who had never driven a closed car.
“It was the first time that I drove a prototype, and in fact the first time I’ve driven a car with a roof. It was very interesting and there were many things to discover and a lot of new information. I enjoyed it a lot. I had very high speed and this car has a really good potential. I was very happy with the performance and I’m excited to see what the future could bring for me in “endurance”. I want to thank Prema for this opportunity and for their work during these two days. We’ll see what 2022 brings, not only in Endurance, but also in the Formulas and at the right time we’ll announce what my schedule will be”

Juan Manuel Correa tuvo la oportunidad de probar esta semana el LPM2 con el que Prema, tras su asociación con Iron Lynx, disputará el WEC en 2022.
“No podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de probar nuevas experiencias y la oportunidad que me dio Prema no la quise desaprovechar. Dos meses sin tener la sensación de pilotar era demasiado, así que puse rumbo al Paul Ricard para estar dos días sintiendo algo nuevo”, comenta Juan Manuel, que nunca había pilotado un coche cerrado.
“Era la primera vez que manejaba un prototipo, de hecho la primera vez que pilotaba un coche con techo. Fue muy interesante y había muchas cosas por descubrir y mucha información nueva y lo disfruté bastante. Tuve mucha velocidad y el potencial de este coche es muy bueno. Me quedé muy contento con mis prestaciones y estoy emocionado con lo que podría venir en un futuro para mí en “endurance”. Quiero dar las gracias a Prema por esta oportunidad y por su trabajo en estos dos días y vamos a ver que nos trae 2022, no solamente en Resistencia, sino también en Fórmulas y en su debido momento anunciaremos cuál será mi programa”
