Even Lindsey Vonn, the record-holding Queen of the White Circus, the strongest women’s skier ever, has chosen the slopes of the San Pellegrino Ski Area to bask in her beloved Dolomites after her fantastic victory in the Super G at Cortina d’Ampezzo.
She is a true champion in sports as much as in life, always approachable and friendly with everyone. She got to enjoy three days of relaxing and training on the Le Coste slope, a very wide run with a medium incline that’s perfect for both speed tests as well as technical trials.
On Monday evening checked in to the Chalet Cima Uomo, where she also stayed in 2013. Vonn jumped right into intense workouts on the Giant Slalom run, while yesterday morning she performed three trials on the Giant and Special Slalom slopes to prepare for the Combined race at Maribor.
