On 23rd April, Barcelona holds a really special celebration to mark the day of Sant Jordi, or Saint George, the patron saint of Catalonia.
The whole city is transformed and gives it all to Book and Rose Day.
The streets are lined with book and flower stalls, there are cultural events on literary themes, and young and old alike get into the spirit of the celebrations by reliving the popular traditions that make this day truly unique.
