In Qatar nella prima gara della stagione i piloti Sidi si sono resi subito grandi protagonisti.
Le gioie maggiori sono arrivate dalla Moto 2 dove Sidi ha sfiorato il successo centrando un buon secondo posto con il formidabile Xavier Simeon (Federal Oil Gresini). Il pilota belga classe 1989, che si appresta a vivere una stagione per lui molto importante, al termine di un’ottima condotta di gara si è arreso solo dinanzi al vincitore Jonas Folger. A dare ulteriore soddisfazione a Sidi troviamo anche il quarto posto del bravissimo Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40). Il giovane pilota spagnolo, classe 1995, al debutto nella categoria della Moto 2, con una prestazione a dir poco maiuscola ha sfiorato il podio battuto nella volata per il terzo posto dallo svizzero Thomas Luthi. In pista a lottare con i piloti della scuderia Sidi ci sono gli stivali Vortice, che con il loro mix di tecnologia, design e soluzioni all’avanguardia si confermano tra i modelli top della collezione Sidi Sport.
Questi risultati ottenuti in Qatar rappresentano un inizio davvero eccellente per i colori Sidi, una partenza che fa ben sperare per un brillante proseguo di stagione.

Second place for Xavier Simeon and fourth for Alex Rins in his debut
In the first race of the season in Qatar, Sidi riders stood out right away as major players. The greatest joys came from Moto2 where Sidi came within inches of success and however obtained a good second place with the formidable Xavier Simeon (Federal Oil Gresini). The Belgian rider born in 1989 is getting ready to take on what for him will be a very important season. At the end of a very well-run race he was forced to settle for second place behind the winner, Jonas Folger. For Sidi satisfaction was completed when the impressive Spaniard Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40) took fourth place. The young Spanish rider was born in 1995 and was making his debut in the Moto2 class. With a remarkable performance he just missed making it to the podium when he was overtaken in the final sprint for third place by Switzerland’s Thomas Luthi. When they are battling it out on the track, riders from the Sidi stables can always count on Vortice boots. These results obtained in Qatar are an excellent start for the Sidi colours, a start that bodes well for a brilliant season to come.
