Sidi ha il piacere di annunciare che per la stagione 2017 sarà sponsor ufficiale sia del FIM Enduro World Championship che del FIM Supernduro World Chapionship.
L’accordo è stato siglato con ABC Communication società organizzatrice, in collabrazione con FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme), dei due eventi. Si tratta di un’iniziativa importante che sottolinea ancora una volta il grande impegno e la passione profusi dall’azienda di Maser (Treviso) nel settore del motociclismo off road a livello internazionale. Per il Mondiale Enduro la presenza di Sidi come sponsor è una conferma, mentre per quello Superenduro si tratta di una novità.

La nuova stagione dell’ Enduro promette grandi novità sia a livello di località toccate sia a livello tecnico. Il 2016 è stato l’ultimo anno delle tre classi E1, E2 ed E3. Dal 2017 si avranno solo due classi principali; la “classe regina” Enduro GP (classe per moto di cilindrata uguale o superiore ai 250cc) e la nuova E2 (per moto di cilindrata fino, e compresa, a 250cc) a cui vanno aggiunte le immutate categorie Youth Cup, Enduro Junior ed Enduro Women.
A livello di calendario si aggiunge una prova. Saranno nove, rispetto alle otto degli ultimi anni, le prove previste dal FIM Enduro World Championship 2017, distribuite tra marzo e ottobre: 25-26/03 Helsinki (GP di Finlandia), 22-23/04 Puerto Lumbreras (GP di Spagna), 27-28/05 Spoleto (GP d’Italia), 24-25/06 Paradfurdó (Gp d’Ungheria), 01-02/07 Puchov (GP di Slovacchia), 22-23/07 Castel Branco (GP del Portogallo), 23-24/09 Hawkstone Park (GP d’Inghilterra), 7-8/10 Tucuman (GP d’Argentina), 21-22/10 Zschoppau (GP di Germania).
Si cercano nuove soluzioni per rendere il mondiale sempre più spettacolare e avvincente. Due delle gare in programma avranno caratteristiche a sé stanti e molto particolari. È il caso del primo GP della stagione 2017, il GP di Finlandia, che coinciderà con la mitica Paijanne, gara Enduro non-stop di 800 chilometri sulla neve, ed è il caso del GP d’Inghilterra, terzultimo appuntamento stagionale, che proporrà la formula con sabato gara enduro sprint e domenica gara in stile americano GNCC (Grand National Cross Country).

Il Superenduro è la disciplina esaltante e spettacolare che prevede delle gare di enduro indoor nelle quali i piloti in azione, come dei gladiatori moderni in sella ai loro cavalli d’acciaio, si sfidano all’interno di un’ arena gremita di pubblico su un circuito disseminato di ostacoli artificiali da affrontare e superare. Il Superenduro è spettacolo allo stato puro, con il motociclismo offroad che entra nel cuore delle città rccogliendo sempre più interesse ed entusiasmo da parte del pubblico.
Tutto è pronto, manca meno di un mese al via della nuova stagione. Sono 4 le prove in programma a cavallo tra il 2016 e il 2017: 10/12 Krakow, Tauron Arena (Polonia), 07/01 Riesa, Sachsen Arena (Germania), 04/03 Bilbao Arena (Spagna), 18/03 Albi, Par des Espositions (Francia).

The deal was signed with the organizing company for the two events, ABC Communication, in association with FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme). This important initiative underscores once again the great commitment and passion that the company from Maser (Treviso) has always had for the international off-road motorcycling sector. In 2017 Sidi is confirming its presence as a sponsor for the Enduro World Series, while the Superenduro races will be new to them next year.

The new Enduro season promises big news regarding locations as well as technical aspects of the events. 2016 was the last year for the three classes of E1, E2 and E3. Starting in 2017 there will be only two major categories; the “major league” Enduro GP (for motorcycles of 250cc or more) and the new E2 (for motorcycles up to and including 250cc), along with the unchanged Youth Cup, Enduro Junior and Enduro Women categories.
The calendar will be adding a new test. There will be nine races in the 2017 FIM Enduro World Championship between March and October, instead of the usual 8 featured over the past several years: 25-26/03 Helsinki (GP of Finland), 22-23/04 Puerto Lumbreras (Spanish GP), 27-28/05 Spoleto (Italian GP), 24-25/06 Paradfurdó (Hungarian GP), 01-02/07 Puchov (GP of Slovakia), 22-23/07 Castel Branco (Portugal GP), 23-24/09 Hawkstone Park (British GP), 7-8/10 Tucuman (Argentina GP), 21-22/10 Zschoppau (German GP).
We are continually striving to make the World Series even more spectacular and compelling. Two of the races on the schedule will present unique and very particular features. This is the case for the first GP in the 2017 season, the GP Finland, which will coincide with the legendary Paijanne, an 800 kilometre, non-stop Enduro race on the snow. It will also be the case for the British GP, the third-to-last event of the season, which will introduce a formula with the enduro sprint race on Saturday and an American style GNCC (Grand National Cross Country) race on Sunday.

The exciting and spectacular motor sport of Superenduro will also feature enduro indoor races in packed arenas, on circuits set up with obstacles to take on and overcome, where active riders will challenge each other like modern gladiators riding their steel horses. Superenduro is a pure extravaganza, with off-road motorcycling piercing the heart of the cities it touches and attracting increasing interest and enthusiasm from the crowds.
