Top rating for the new ŠKODA #enyaqiv: The new electric SUV has achieved the highest classification of five stars in tests conducted by the independent European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP). It ranks among the safest vehicles currently available with a total of 86% of the possible points. In addition, the ŠKODA #enyaqiv achieved the best result ever in the #euroncap #test for occupant protection, with 94% for adult passengers and 89% for children. ŠKODA’s first model based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit thus continues the string of top scores for ŠKODA vehicles in the crash #safety reference #test, even with the now stricter assessment criteria. ŠKODA’s bestseller, the OCTAVIA, the compact model SCALA and the SUV models KODIAQ, KAROQ and KAMIQ, among others, have all been awarded the fivestar rating.

Johannes Neft, ŠKODA #auto Board Member for Technical Development, says, “We are delighted to receive a five-star evaluation for the new ŠKODA #enyaqiv in the #euroncap #test. We are particularly proud of the result for the protection of adults and children in the interior. The fact that we have extended the successful record of five-star results for our vehicles even after the more stringent #test parameters were introduced last year confirms our strong commitment to the #safety of our customers and all other road users.”

The new ŠKODA #enyaqiv achieved exceptional results in the comprehensive crash and #safety tests of the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP), particularly in passenger protection. With 94% of the maximum points attainable for the protection of adults in the vehicle and 89% for the protection of children, ŠKODA’s first all-electric SUV achieved top marks in the #euroncap #test, which was made even more rigorous in 2020. In all other areas and with an overall score of 86% of the maximum score, the new #enyaqiv consistently ranks in the top group.
