La breve corsa a tappe francese, che si sta svolgendo dal 7 al 14 giugno in Francia, rappresenta per tradizione un aperitivo di lusso a quello che sarà poi lo spettacolo del Tour de France. Tanti big infatti, e tra questi le stelle della scuderia Sidi, sono qui a darsi battaglia per affilare le lame in vista della Grande Boucle (4-26 luglio).
La prima stoccata vincente firmata Sidi è arrivata allo sprint nella seconda tappa, la Le Bourget du Lac – Parc des Oiseaux Villars les Dombes di 173 km, dove la vittoria è andata al francese Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) che sulla linea del traguardo a bruciato tutta la concorrenza con il connazionale Samuel Dumoulin (AG2R-La Mondiale), secondo, e l’italiano Sacha Modolo (Lampre-Merida), terzo. Per Bouhanni si tratta del risultato più importante del 2015, una vittoria prestigiosa che lo rilancia alla grande tra i migliori sprinter del gruppo a livello mondiale.

Nacer Bouhanni wins in the second stage bunch sprint
Sidi Sport stood out right away on the roads of the Critérium du Dauphiné. The short French stage race that is taking place from June 7th to the 14th in France has traditionally served as a generous teaser before the spectacle to follow that is the Tour de France. Sidi’s first winning spot came about in the bunch sprint for the second stage, the 173 km Le Bourget du Lac – Parc des Oiseaux Villars les Dombes. Victory went to Frenchman Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis), who blew away all the competition at the finish line, with fellow countryman Samuel Dumoulin (AG2R-La Mondiale) coming in second and Italian Sacha Modolo (Lampre-Merida) taking third. For Bouhanni this is the most important result of 2015, a prestigious victory that has launched him back into the ranks of the best sprinters in the group at the world level.
