Dani Sordo (Hyundai Motorsport Days) on i20 Coupé was the fastest in the 4.15 km shakedown this morning at Olmedo.

Thierry Neuville finished second in the i20 Coupé with soft wheels and was pleased with the set up of the car , with the third time Jari-Matti Latvala on Toyota Yaris WRC, just behind Paddon (Hyundai Motor Sport), Meeke on Citroen C3 WRC with hard tires, he had a problem with the suspension solved at Service Park.

Sordo ha ottenuto il miglior tempo sullo shakedown. Alle 17 lo start della gara ed alle 18 la Ittiri Arena Show
Dani Sordo di Hyunday Motorsport sulla i20 Coupè è stato il più veloce con il tempo di 2’31”8 nello shakedown di 4,15 km disputato questa mattina a Olmedo. Il pilota spagnolo ha trovato una vettura molto equilibrata e il set up ottimale per disputare una grande prova.
Hanno chiuso col secondo tempo Thierry Neuville su Hyundai i20 Coupè che ha girato con ruote soft e si dice soddisfatto del set up dell’auto e col terzo tempo Jari-Matti Latvala su Toyota Yaris WRC del Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, subito dietro l’australinao della Hyundai Motor Sport Hayden Paddon, Kris Meeke sulla Citroen C3 WRC del Team Citroen Total Abu Dhabi WRT, che ha montato gomme hard, ha avuto un problema alle sospensioni risolto in assistenza.
Il campione del mondo Sebastian Ogier su Ford Fiesta WRC della M-Sport World Rally Team fa registrare l’ottavo tempo, queste le sue parole “All’inizio ho girato con le soft e poi con le hard per preservare le gomme in vista della gara. Il setup è ok, per me sarà una gara tutta d’attacco sin dalla super speciale di Ittiri. Siamo pronti per la battaglia”.
Interessante il primo riscontro dell’equipaggio di ACI Team Italia Fabio Andolfi e Manuel Fenoli che sula Hyunday !20 R5 curata da Romeo Ferraris ha chiuso con 2’49”4 e che si dice soddisfatto dello Shakedown e del set up dell’auto ed ha detto: “La vettura è decisamente migliorata il nostro obiettivo è stare attenti, concentrati e tenere un ritmo costante poi si vedrà”
La partenza del rally Italia Sardegna sarà alle 17 dal Porto di Alghero, subito alle 18 la prima prova speciale Ittiri Arena Show, poi in serata spostamento ad Olbia.
