Dopo il recente passaggio di Maya Weug in F4, Richard Mille è felice di annunciare l’ingresso nella “Richard Mille Young Talent Academy” per la stagione 2021 della giovane svizzera di origine ucraina Ekaterina Luescher.
In occasione delle ultime due stagioni con i colori della Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug ha potuto sviluppare tutto il suo talento e preparare il suo passaggio alle monoposto. Fa ormai parte della Ferrari Driver Academy, la prima volta nella storia per una donna che si appresta a disputare nelle migliori condizioni la sua prima stagione in F4.
Ekaterina Luescher, quattordici anni, seguirà le orme di Maya Weug entrando a far parte del Team Birel ART Racing nella categoria Junior. Pilota del karting Junior dal 2019, lo scorso anno è diventata vicecampionessa svizzera.
“Ekaterina ci ha veramente sedotti con il suo entusiasmo e la sua passione per le gare”, ha precisato Amanda Mille. “Ha una personalità coinvolgente, dinamica e ben strutturata. Molto comunicativa, siamo convinti che sarà in grado d’incarnare tutto lo spirito della Richard Mille Young Talent Academy sui circuiti internazionali di karting in questa stagione.”

Ekaterina Luescher follows in the footsteps of Maya Weug
Following Maya Weug’s recent move to Formula 4, Richard Mille is pleased to announce the selection of Ukrainian-born Swiss young talent Ekaterina Luescher to the “Richard Mille Young Talent Academy” for the 2021 season.
During the last two seasons under the colours of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug has been able to develop her talent and prepare for her transition to single-seater racing. She is now part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, a historic first for a woman, and is preparing to compete in her first season in Formula 4 in the best possible circumstances.
14-year-old Ekaterina Luescher will follow in Maya Weug’s footsteps by joining the Birel ART Racing Team in the Junior category this year. She has been a Junior karting driver since 2019 and last year she became Swiss vice-champion.
“Ekaterina really convinced us with her enthusiasm and passion for racing”, said Amanda Mille. “She has an engaging, dynamic and well-structured personality. She communicates very well and we are convinced that she will embody the spirit of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy on the international karting circuits this season.

Suite au récent passage de Maya Weug en Formule 4, Richard Mille est heureux d’annoncer la sélection de la jeune Suissesse d’origine ukrainienne Ekaterina Luescher au sein de la “Richard Mille Young Talent Academy” pour la saison 2021.
Lors des deux dernières saisons sous les couleurs de la Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, Maya Weug a pu développer l’étendue de son talent et préparer son passage en monoplace. Elle fait désormais partie de la Ferrari Driver Academy, une première historique pour une femme, qui s’apprête à disputer dans les meilleures conditions sa première saison en Formule 4.
Âgée de 14 ans, Ekaterina Luescher va suivre les traces de Maya Weug en intégrant cette année le Birel ART Racing Team dans la catégorie Junior. Pilote Karting Junior depuis 2019, elle est notamment devenue vice-Championne de Suisse l’an dernier.
« Ekaterina nous a vraiment séduits avec son enthousiasme et sa passion pour la compétition », a précisé Amanda Mille. « Elle possède une personnalité attachante, dynamique et bien structurée.
