With a new crown in Italy with the Swedish driver Emil Skaras, Energy Corse is more than ever the most successful team in KZ2 over the last 15 years.
In total, Energy Corse has seven European KZ2 Championships, a World victory and a 2nd place in the KZ2 International Super Cup, a European KZ Championship and countless podiums in the FIA Karting events! After the magnificent success for Skaras at Wackersdorf, “Energy Power” still shone over Sarno!
Energy Corse continues to be present at major events, thanks to ongoing equipment development work, incredible commitment from every member of the team and unconditional support for its drivers. “After my victory in the first round of the European KZ2 Championship in Germany, I knew the competition would be sharper than ever at this final event in Italy,” said Emil Skaras. “The Sarno weekend was never easy, we had to fight constantly and work hard to stay in the leading pack. The important thing was not to make mistakes and manage my lead in the Championship. I finished every heat in the top six and I was able to score enough points in the Final to take the title. The Energy Corse team has done a fantastic job since the beginning of the season and I also thank my engine builder, Galiffa Kart. Many big teams are involved in KZ2 and it’s great to be able to beat them in this European Championship!”
Energy Corse enabled Isack Sjokvist, also from Sweden, to join the starting grid of the Final thanks to remarkable progress in the Qualifying Heats.
Energy Corse chassis effective on all fronts
In recent weeks, many other podiums have rewarded drivers in the Energy Corse colours. Already the leader of the German Junior Championship (DJKM) when he arrived at Wackersdorf, the Dutchman Robert De Haan added two superb victories to his record and widened the gap in the overall standings. De Haan is also a major player in the European Championship, as evidenced by his 4th place in the Final at the Belgian Grand Prix at Genk.
The harvest of trophies also continues in 60 Mini, a category where the knowledge of the Italian brand continues to be confirmed with each new competition. In the Italian Championship, Alex Powell imposed his Energy Corse chassis very well in Race 2 on the Castelletto circuit. The young Jamaican mounted the podium again at the next race in Siena, again in Race 2. This time, another driver in the colours of Energy Corse dominated the race and took the finish as a big winner, Francesco Marenghi from the ASD Revolution team.
In France, Clément Outran has taken two very important victories in Mini: at Brignoles during the very competitive French Cup and at Laval in the IAME Series. And in Russia, the Ni Racing Energy Russia team dominated the third round of the Championship on the Kursk circuit. This meant we saw four Energy Corse chassis in the top four places of the Super Mini category, as well as a magnificent double in Mini!
Settimo titolo di Campione europeo KZ2 per Energy Corse!
Forte di un nuovo successo conquistato in Italia dallo svedese Emil Skaras, Energy Corse è da 15 anni il team più titolato della KZ2. Energy Corse ha conquistato in totale sette titoli di Campione europeo KZ2, una vittoria mondiale e un secondo posto nella International Super Cup KZ2, un titolo di Campione europeo KZ e numerosi podi nelle prove FIA Karting. Dopo il magnifico successo di Skaras a Wackersdorf, l’«Energy Power» aleggiava ancora su Sarno!
Energy Corse continua a essere più che presente nei grandi appuntamenti, grazie a un incessante lavoro di sviluppo del mezzo, un incredibile coinvolgimento di tutti i membri del team e un supporto incondizionato ai piloti. “Dopo la mia vittoria in occasione della prima prova del Campionato europeo KZ2 in Germania, sapevo che la concorrenza sarebbe stata più agguerrita che mai in occasione di questa prova finale in Italia”, ha dichiarato Emil Skaras. “Il week-end di Sarno non è mai stato facile. È stato necessario battersi costantemente e lavorare duro per restare nel gruppo di testa. L’importante era non commettere errori e gestire il vantaggio in Campionato. Ho chiuso sempre le manche nella Top-6 e sono riuscito a conquistare abbastanza punti in finale per andare alla ricerca del titolo. Il team Energy Corse ha svolto un lavoro fantastico sin dall’inizio della stagione e ringrazio anche il mio preparatore, Galiffa Kart. Nella KZ2 partecipano molti grandi team ed è stata una sensazione fantastica essere riusciti a batterli in questo Campionato europeo!”
Energy Corse ha permesso a Isack Sjokvist, anche lui svedese, di essere nella griglia di partenza della finale grazie ai risultati ottenuti nelle manche di qualificazione.
I telai Energy Corse negli altri Campionati
In queste ultime settimane ci sono stati altri podi per i piloti di Energy Corse. Già leader del Campionato tedesco Junior (DJKM) a Wackersdorf, l’olandese Robert De Haan ha aggiunto due straordinarie vittorie al suo palmarès e ha aumentato il distacco in classifica generale. De Haan è anche un grande animatore del Campionato europeo, come lo dimostra il suo quarto posto in finale al Grand Premio del Belgio a Genk.
L’incetta di trofei continua anche nella 60 Mini, una categoria dove il know-how del marchio italiano si conferma a ogni nuova competizione. Nel Campionato italiano, Alex Powell ha imposto alla grande il suo telaio Energy Corse in Gara 2 sul circuito di Castelletto. Il giovane giamaicano è salito nuovamente sul podio in occasione della prova successiva a Siena, sempre in Gara 2. Questa volta è un altro pilota di Energy Corse che ha dominato la gara e ha tagliato il traguardo da grande vincitore: si tratta di Francesco Marenghi del team ASD Revolution.

Fort d’un nouveau sacre décroché en Italie avec le Suédois Emil Skaras, Energy Corse est plus que jamais le team le plus titré du KZ2 depuis 15 ans. Au total, Energy Corse compte sept couronnes de Champion d’Europe KZ2, une victoire mondiale et une deuxième place à la Super Coupe Internationale KZ2, un titre de Champion d’Europe KZ et d’innombrables podiums dans les épreuves FIA Karting ! Après le magnifique succès de Skaras à Wackersdorf, “l’Energy Power” a encore plané au-dessus de Sarno !
Energy Corse continue de répondre présent dans les grands rendez-vous, grâce à un travail de développement du matériel incessant, une incroyable implication de tous les membres de l’équipe et un soutien inconditionnel envers ses pilotes. “Après ma victoire lors de la première épreuve du Championnat d’Europe KZ2 en Allemagne, je savais que la concurrence serait plus affûtée que jamais lors de cette épreuve finale en Italie,” a déclaré Emil Skaras. “Le week-end de Sarno n’a jamais été facile, il a fallu se battre constamment et travailler dur pour rester dans le peloton de tête. L’important était de ne pas commettre d’erreur et de gérer mon avance au Championnat. J’ai toujours terminé les manches dans le top-6 et j’ai pu marquer suffisamment de points en finale pour aller chercher le titre. Le team Energy Corse a fait un boulot fantastique depuis le début de la saison et je remercie aussi mon motoriste, Galiffa Kart. Beaucoup de grandes équipes sont impliquées en KZ2 et c’est génial d’avoir pu les battre dans ce Championnat d’Europe !”

Ces dernières semaines, bien d’autres podiums sont venus récompenser les pilotes aux couleurs Energy Corse. Déjà leader du Championnat d’Allemagne Junior (DJKM) en arrivant à Wackersdorf, le Néerlandais Robert De Haan a ajouté deux superbes victoires à son palmarès et a creusé l’écart au classement général. De Haan est également un grand animateur du Championnat d’Europe, comme l’atteste sa 4e place en finale au Grand Prix de Belgique à Genk.
La moisson de trophées se poursuit aussi en 60 Mini, une catégorie où le savoir-faire de la marque italienne ne cesse de se vérifier à chaque nouvelle compétition. Au Championnat d’Italie, Alex Powell a imposé son châssis Energy Corse de fort belle manière dans la Course 2 sur le circuit de Castelletto. Le jeune Jamaïcain grimpait à nouveau sur le podium lors de l’épreuve suivante à Siena, toujours lors de la Course 2. Cette fois, c’est un autre pilote aux couleurs Energy Corse qui dominait la course et coupait l’arrivée en grand vainqueur, en la personne de Francesco Marenghi du team ASD Revolution.
En France, Clément Outran reste sur deux victoires très importantes en Mini: à Brignoles lors de la très relevée Coupe de France et à Laval en IAME Series. Et en Russie, le team Ni Racing Energy Russia a dominé la 3e épreuve du Championnat sur le circuit de Kursk. On retrouvait ainsi quatre châssis Energy Corse aux quatre premières places de la catégorie Super Mini, mais aussi un magnifique doublé en Mini !
