Shanghai Hantang Culture – A World of Excellence 10th Anniversary: Cannes Film Festival

Shanghai Hantang Culture Development Co., Ltd. will hold a press conference and cocktail party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its program, A World of Excellence.

A World of Excellence premiered in 2006. It is China’s first weekly documentary series devoted to luxury brands, foreign cultures, music, arts, and personal biographies. It covers a wide range of subjects such as watches, jewelry, haute couture, hotels, yachts, cars, and tourism. All planning, filming, production, and distribution is done in-house.

For ten years, the program has created content that appeals to people of all backgrounds with great respect for the cultural aspects of its source material. It has participated in and witnessed the development of luxury brands in China. Today, the program has an audience of more than 1.3 billion people.

A World of Excellence has created a special 10th anniversary episode for Cannes Film Festival, saluting filmmakers and promoting the seventh art to the Chinese audience. Hantang would like to introduce its guests to its movie-quality documentary series. The new documentary film project Icons will also be officially launched. The series will focus on European culture, exploring the commonalities between societies.

The Cannes Film Festival is the first stop of A World of Excellence’s 10th anniversary tour. It will also make stops at the Salzburg Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.
