La Corea ha fatto registrare i migliori tempi sia al maschile che al femminile nelle qualificazioni della team pursuit del pattinaggio di velocità alla Winter Universiade Trentino 2013. Nelle qualifiche maschili, la Corea ha fermato il cronometro sul tempo di 3:47.57, precedendo la Russia (3:51.62), sua prossima avversaria nella finale per l’oro alle 16 di oggi, mentre l’Italia (3:51.66) sarà impegnata nella finale per il bronzo contro il Giappone (3:56.48).
Al femminile, miglior tempo ancora per la Corea (3:08.52), favorita nella finale per loro che la vedrà opposta al Giappone (3:12.42). Terzo tempo per l’Italia (3:14.33), che si giocherà la medaglia di bronzo con la Norvegia (3:14.91).
SPEED SKATING’S TEAM PURSUIT: FINALS DECIDED
In Baselga di Pinè, Korea won the time trial run of the Ladies’ Speed Skating’s Team Pursuit in 3:08.52 at the 26th Winter Universiade Trentino 2013. Japan was second (3:12.42). Later today at 4pm CET they will face each other in the Gold Medal Final.
Italy (3rd in 3:14.33) and Norway (4th in 3:14.91) will contest for the bronze.
In the Men’s competition, Korea established the best time in 3:47.57 ahead of Russia (3:51.62) and they will meet in the Gold Medal final, later in the afternoon at 4.30pm CET. Italy (3:51.66) and Japan (3:56.48) will compete for the bronze.
