Squadra corse di riferimento sulla scena internazionale da oltre vent’anni, Energy Corse si appresta a iniziare questa nuova stagione sotto i migliori auspici. Sono già stati annunciati almeno quattordici piloti come portacolori della squadra capitanata da Mick Panigada.
Grazie al riconosciuto know-how, ai mezzi tecnologicamente all’avanguardia, ai tecnici di grande esperienza, alle partnership con i migliori preparatori del paddock e al palmarès che di anno in anno si arricchisce, il team Energy Corse ha decisamente l’intenzione di fare suoi i podi del 2021. “Come ogni inverno, abbiamo già perfettamente preparato questa nuova stagione”, ammette Mick Panigada. “Lo sviluppo del kart è stato validato in occasione dei numerosi test fatti recentemente. Le performance ci sono e noi siamo ottimisti in merito alla nostra capacità di permettere ai nostri piloti di correre nelle migliori condizioni.” A questo proposito ricordiamo che Energy Corse è una delle squadre del paddock internazionale a dare una grande importanza al fattore umano.
Nuove vittorie in vista nella 60 Mini
Energy Corse ha conquistato numerosi titoli nelle diverse categorie “Mini” di queste ultime stagioni, come la vittoria finale del russo Dmitry Matveev alla WSK Super Master Series 2020 nella 60 Mini. Questa volta il team italiano conterà su Jensen Burnett, Hugo Martiniello, Joel Pohjola, Alfie Slater e Sasha Van’t Pad Bosch. Tutti hanno già fatto parlare di sé sin dai loro inizi. Slater ha concluso al secondo posto nella IAME International Final del 2019. Martiniello ha vinto numerose gare in terra francese. Van’t Pad Bosch si è classificato secondo della IAME Euro Series nel 2020. Pohjola si è recentemente distinto negli IAME International Games, mentre Burnett ha fatto una bella progressione in occasione dell’ultima Rok Cup Superfinal.
OK-Junior: del potenziale da sviluppare
Come nella 60 Mini, il gruppo Energy Corse della OK-Junior sarà costituito da piloti di diverse nazionalità: un olandese, un lituano, un russo e un rappresentante del Regno Unito. Tutti partiranno con una grande motivazione, la voglia di acquisire il massimo di esperienza e la volontà di progredire rapidamente verso i vertici. Sarà il caso di questo promettente quartetto composto da Nathan Schaap, Sirvydas Šimkus, Yaroslav Trukhin e Brandon Carr, vincitore della Florida Winter Cup nel 2017, settimo della IAME International Final 2019, quarto del Campionato inglese 2019 e allenato da Ben Barnicoat.
OK: un leader e un outsider
Alexander Dunne non è sicuramente uno sconosciuto nel paddock internazionale. L’irlandese si è spesso fatto notare al volante del suo kart Enegy Corse-TM Racing in occasione della sua prima stagione nella OK nel 2020. Conta di concretizzare in questa stagione e ha deciso di confermare la sua fiducia al team italiano. Sarà in squadra con il lituano Jokūbas Bagdonavičius di cui sarà interessante seguirne i progressi.
Un trio sconvolgente nella KZ2
Campione europeo di questa categoria a più riprese sin dagli inizi del 2000 e già vincitore dell’International Supercup, il team Energy Corse conta di proseguire la sua incetta di podi nella KZ2. Potrà contare su un kart dalle performance sicure e su piloti molto veloci. Dotato di grande esperienza nelle coppe monomarchio, l’olandese Joey Van Splunteren ha fatto registrare una grande progressione nel 2020 per il suo primo anno nella KZ2 già con Energy Corse. È accompagnato dal suo connazionale Martijn Van Leeuwen, già conosciuto per le sue performance nella Junior, nella OK e nella KZ2 da alcune stagioni. Saranno un punto di riferimento per i due piloti Junior provenienti dalla OK: il lituano Kajus Siksnelis, vincitore dell’Academy Trophy FIA Karting nel 2019, e il russo Maksim Soldatov, finalista del Campionato mondiale nel 2019.

Un effectif de grande qualité pour Energy Corse en 2021
Team de compétition de référence sur la scène internationale depuis plus de deux décennies, Energy Corse s’apprête à démarrer cette nouvelle saison sous les meilleurs auspices. Pas moins de 14 pilotes sont d’ores et déjà annoncés sous les fameuses couleurs de l’équipe dirigée par Mick Panigada.
Avec son savoir-faire reconnu, son matériel à la pointe de la technologie, ses techniciens expérimentés, ses partenariats avec les meilleurs motoristes du paddock et son palmarès toujours plus étoffé année après année, le team Energy Corse a bien l’intention de mettre le cap sur le podium en 2021. “Comme à chaque hiver, nous avons parfaitement préparé cette nouvelle saison,” avoue Mick Panigada. “Le développement du matériel a été validé lors des nombreux essais récemment réalisés. La performance est clairement au rendez-vous et nous sommes optimistes quant à notre capacité à permettre à nos pilotes d’évoluer dans les meilleures conditions.” Rappelons à ce propos qu’Energy Corse est l’une des équipes du paddock international à attacher une grande importance au facteur humain.
Nouvelles victoires en vue en 60 Mini
Energy Corse a engrangé de nombreux titres dans les diverses catégories “Mini” ces dernières saisons, à l’image de la victoire finale du Russe Dmitry Matveev à la WSK Super Master Series 2020 en 60 Mini. Cette fois, le team italien comptera sur Jensen Burnett, Hugo Martiniello, Joel Pohjola, Alfie Slater et Sasha Van’t Pad Bosch. Tous ont déjà fait parler d’eux depuis leurs débuts. Slater a ainsi terminé 2e de la IAME International Final en 2019. Martiniello a gagné de nombreuses courses sur le sol français. Van’t Pad Bosch s’est classé 2e de la IAME Euro Series en 2020. Pohjola s’est récemment illustré aux IAME International Games, tandis que Burnett a vécu une belle progression lors de la dernière Rok Cup Superfinal.
OK-Junior: Du potentiel à développer
Comme en 60 Mini, l’effectif d’Energy Corse en OK-Junior sera constitué de pilotes de nationalités différentes, avec un Néerlandais, un Lituanien, un Russe et un représentant du Royaume-Uni. Tous partiront avec une grande motivation, l’envie d’acquérir le maximum d’expérience et la volonté de progresser rapidement vers les sommets. Ce sera pour le cas pour ce quatuor prometteur composé de Nathan Schaap, Sirvydas Šimkus, Yaroslav Trukhin et Brandon Carr, vainqueur de la Florida Winter Cup en 2017, 7e de la IAME International Final 2019, 4e du Championnat de Grande-Bretagne 2019 et coaché par Ben Barnicoat.
OK: Un leader et un outsider
Alexander Dunne est loin d’être un inconnu dans le paddock international. L’Irlandais s’est souvent fait remarquer au volant de son ensemble Energy Corse-TM Racing lors de sa première saison en OK en 2020. Il compte concrétiser cette saison et a décidé de réitérer sa confiance envers le team italien. Il fera équipe avec le Lituanien Jokūbas Bagdonavičius, dont la progression sera intéressante à suivre.
Un trio de choc en KZ2
Titré Champion d’Europe dans cette catégorie à de multiples reprises depuis le début des années 2000 et déjà vainqueur de l’International Supercup, le team Energy Corse compte poursuivre sa moisson de podium en KZ2. Il pourra s’appuyer à la fois sur un matériel éprouvé et sur des pilotes très rapides. Doté d’une grande expérience dans les coupes de marque, le Néerlandais Joey Van Splunteren est monté en puissance en 2020 pour sa première année en KZ2, déjà avec Energy Corse. Il est rejoint par son compatriote Martijn Van Leeuwen, bien connu pour ses performances en Junior, OK et KZ2 depuis quelques saisons. Ils serviront de référence à deux jeunes issus du OK: le Lituanien Kajus Siksnelis, vainqueur du Trophée Académie FIA Karting en 2019, et le Russe Maksim Soldatov, finaliste du Championnat du Monde en 2019.

A high quality lineup for Energy Corse in 2021
A benchmark competition team on the international scene for more than two decades, Energy Corse is getting ready to start this new season in the best possible circumstances. No less than 14 drivers have already been announced and will race under the famous colours of the team led by Mick Panigada.
With its recognised knowledge, its equipment at the cutting edge of technology, its experienced technicians, its partnerships with the best engine tuners in the paddock and its ever-increasing prize list year after year, the Energy Corse team is determined to set its sights on the podium in 2021. “As we do every winter, we have prepared for the new season perfectly,” admits Mick Panigada. “The development of the equipment has been validated during the numerous tests we have recently carried out. The performance is clearly there and we are optimistic about our ability to enable our drivers to progress in the best conditions.” Energy Corse is one of the teams in the international paddock to attach great importance to the human factor.
More victories in sight in 60 Mini
Energy Corse has won numerous titles in the various “Mini” categories in recent seasons, such as the overall victory for the Russian Dmitry Matveev at the 2020 WSK Super Master Series in 60 Mini. This time, the Italian team will count on Jensen Burnett, Hugo Martiniello, Joel Pohjola, Alfie Slater and Sasha Van’t Pad Bosch. All of them have already made a name for themselves since their debut. Slater finished 2nd in the IAME International Final in 2019 and Martiniello has won many races on French soil. Van’t Pad Bosch finished 2nd in the IAME Euro Series in 2020, Pohjola recently distinguished himself at the IAME International Games, while Burnett made a good progress at the last Rok Cup Superfinal.
OK-Junior: Potential to be developed
As in 60 Mini, the Energy Corse squad in OK-Junior will be made up of drivers of different nationalities, with Dutch, Lithuanian, Russian and British representatives. All of them will start with great motivation, the desire to gain maximum experience and the will to progress rapidly towards the top. This will be the case for the promising quartet of Nathan Schaap, Sirvydas Šimkus, Yaroslav Trukhin and Brandon Carr, winner of the Florida Winter Cup in 2017, 7th in the IAME International Final 2019, 4th in the 2019 British Championship and coached by Ben Barnicoat.
OK: A leader and an outsider
Alexander Dunne is far from a stranger in the international paddock. The Irishman has often made a name for himself at the wheel of his Energy Corse-TM Racing machine during his first season in OK in 2020. He intends to use this season to consolidate and has decided to reiterate his confidence in the Italian team. He will team up with the Lithuanian Jokūbas Bagdonavičius, whose progress will be interesting to follow.
A trio of shock in KZ2
Titled European Champion in this category on several occasions since the beginning of the 2000s and already winner of the International Supercup, the Energy Corse team intends to continue its podium harvest in KZ2. It will be able to rely on both proven equipment and very fast drivers. With a great experience in brand cups, Dutchman Joey Van Splunteren climbed the ladder in 2020 for his first year in KZ2, already with Energy Corse. He is joined by his compatriot Martijn Van Leeuwen, well known for his performances in Junior, OK and KZ2 a few seasons ago. They will serve as a reference for two youngsters moving up from OK: the Lithuanian Kajus Siksnelis, winner of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2019, and the Russian Maksim Soldatov, a finalist in the 2019 World Championship.
