NEOM, Saudi Arabia – The highly anticipated supertri League Grand Final will take place this Sunday, November 3 (2pm local time), kicking off the NEOM Beach Games in Saudi Arabia. After four rounds of exciting racing, this event marks the conclusion of the 2024 supertri League.

supertri League has captivated audiences across Boston, Chicago, London, and Toulouse, showcasing the world’s best triathletes in the sport’s fastest, most tactical and technical format, and NEOM is set to be a fitting end to a season defined by dramatic finishes.

In what will be supertri’s third visit to NEOM, individual and team titles are on the line along with more than $1 million prize money up for grabs. It’s all to play for with Crown Racing leading Podium Racing by just 14 points heading into the final race, which promises intense head-to-head action.

Georgia Taylor-Brown will become the first athlete to win three supertri League titles if she can extend her amazing form, which has seen her win three races back-to-back. But with 20 points available for the winner of this event, Jeanne Lehair, Taylor Spivey and Cassandre Beaugrand will be aiming to challenge for the title.

In the men’s title race, Hayden Wilde leads the standings in pole position to take home his second supertri title and like Taylor-Brown needs to place on the podium to ensure the trophy will be his again. Challengers Léo Bergere, Tim Hellwig, and Vasco Vilaca are still in contention and hoping for a dramatic finish.

Crown Racing manager, Chris McCormack, said: “The way Georgia races that experience is there, the trust in her ability and she races with such grace. For someone to be so dominant reminds me of Katie Zaferes back in the day. Georgia has shown across swim, bike and run she is flawless and the best triathlete on the planet right now.”

Podium Racing boss Tim Don said: “You have got to believe in your ability to rise to the next level. I know the (Podium Racing) athletes were hard on themselves after Toulouse but we have had time to reset ahead of NEOM. They will fight and the sea swim suits us. Jeanne (Lehair) has fire and is ready to go and you can only control what you can control. We have talked about racing aggressively and have tried that and we need a bit more luck. Everything is still to play for.”

The women’s race kicks off at 2:05pm (local time) with the men’s to follow at 3:20pm.

supertri’s partnerships with NEOM, the Saudi Triathlon Federation and local businesses, have driven a 24% increase in national participation and a 6000% rise in viewership since 2022, showcasing supertri’s mission to ‘Inspire the Competitor in Everyone’.

supertri aims to build on this success and is committed to engaging new markets and expanding triathlon’s reach within the Middle East, with the race broadcasted internationally, allowing fans worldwide to witness this year’s champions crowned.
