Ferretti Group partecipa alla prima edizione del Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous schierando una flotta imponente e onorando un protagonista della propria storia: l’ingegner Carlo Riva, scomparso l’aprile scorso.
Saranno 15, infatti, le imbarcazioni dagli 8 ai 55 metri in rappresentanza dei marchi Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Custom Line, Itama, CRN e la nuova business unit Ferretti Security & Defence. Tre gli stand, situati nella Darsena Europa e Italia, che ospiteranno una flotta estremamente variegata formata da open, coupé, flybridge, maxi e mega yacht, oltre a due storici motoscafi Riva: ? Ferretti Yachts 450, Ferretti Yachts 700 e Ferretti Yachts 750; ? Aquariva Super, Rivamare, 76’ Bahamas, 76’ Perseo, 88’ Florida e i leggendari esemplari di Aquarama Special e Aquarama Super per il marchio Riva; ? Pershing 5X; ? Navetta 33 Crescendo per il marchio Custom Line; ? Itama 62; ? M/Y CRN 55 m Atlante; ? FSD 195 per Ferretti Security & Defence. In particolare, il 55 metri CRN Atlante sarà lo yacht più grande non soltanto della flotta Ferretti Group, ma di tutto il Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous. Per rendere omaggio alla grandezza di Carlo Riva, l’Aquarama Super verrà esposto a terra in un’area dedicata della Darsena Europa. L’11 maggio, durante una cena di gala presso il Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini, verrà assegnato il “Premio Carlo Riva”, realizzato dall’artista Mimmo Paladino, uno dei Maestri dell’arte contemporanea e fondatore della Transavanguardia. Il riconoscimento andrà a un’eminente personalità della nautica internazionale. “Come secondo gruppo nautico al mondo e membro fondatore di Nautica Italiana, abbiamo aderito con entusiasmo a questa prima edizione del Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous” – ha spiegato l’Avvocato Alberto Galassi, Amministratore Delegato di Ferretti Group. “La Versilia è una delle località turistiche italiane più conosciute a livello internazionale per bellezza, vocazione nautica e qualità dell’offerta ricettiva. È la cornice ideale per un evento che promette di diventare la nuova vetrina nella nautica di lusso made in Italy e non solo, vista la presenza di tanti cantieri internazionali. Questo mare e queste coste sono anche fra quelli dove nacque, tanti anni fa, il mito Aquarama, la leggenda delle barche in legno che ha tramandato il suo stile elegante e raffinato alle barche contemporanee. Per questo sono particolarmente felice che proprio qui si tenga l’assegnazione del primo Premio Carlo Riva, per onorare la memoria di un genio del XX secolo, e celebrare la grande nautica italiana, portabandiera di uno stile che il mondo ammira.” La prima edizione del Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, organizzato da Nautica Italiana e Fiera Milano, si prepara ad accogliere, dall’11 al 14 maggio, appassionati di nautica e di Italian style, grazie a un programma ricco anche di eventi collaterali legati ad alta cucina, design, arte e moda. Location della manifestazione saranno non solo la Darsena di Viareggio, ma oltre 10 chilometri di litorale toscano, tra cui spiccano celebri località come Pietrasanta e Forte dei Marmi.
Ferretti Group takes part in the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous deploying an imposing fleet and honouring a protagonist in its history: Mr. Carlo Riva, who passed away last April. 15 boats, from 8 to 55 metres will represent the brands Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Custom Line, Itama, CRN and the new business unit Ferretti Security & Defence. Three stands, located in the Europa Dock and Italia Dock, will host an extremely varied fleet with open, coupé, flybridge, maxi and mega yachts, as well as two historic Riva motorboats: ? Ferretti Yachts 450, Ferretti Yachts 700 and Ferretti Yachts 750; ? Aquariva Super, Rivamare, 76’ Bahamas, 76’ Perseo, 88’ Florida and the legendary Aquarama Special and Aquarama Super for the Riva brand; ? Pershing 5X; ? Navetta 33 Crescendo by Custom Line; ? Itama 62; ? the megayacht CRN 55-metre Atlante; ? FSD 195 for Ferretti Security & Defence. More specifically, the 55-metre CRN Atlante is the largest vessel of the whole Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous. In a tribute to the greatness of Carlo Riva, the Aquarama Super will be exhibited on land in a dedicated area of the Europa Dock. On May 11th, during a gala dinner at the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini, the first “Carlo Riva Prize” will be assigned; the prize has been created by the artist Mimmo Paladino, one of the Maestros of contemporary art and founder of the Transavanguardia (Transavantguarde) movement. The acknowledgement will be awarded to an eminent representative in the international yachting scene. “As the second yachting group in the world and founding member of Nautica Italiana, we were absolutely thrilled to join the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous”, explained Mr. Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group. “Among Italy’s tourist destinations, Versilia is one of the most popular worldwide for its beauty, yachting culture and quality accommodation facilities. This is why I am especially happy that the first Carlo Riva Prize is being held here, to honour the memory of a genius of the 20th century and celebrate great Italian yachting, the standard-bearer of a style admired by the whole world.” From May 11th to 14th, the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, organised by Nautica Italiana and Fiera Milano, is ready to welcome yachting and Italian style aficionados, with a rich programme of fringe events dedicated to haute cuisine, design, art and fashion. The venue of the show will be the docks of Viareggio, plus over 10 kilometres of Tuscan coast, including popular locations such as Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi.
