CRN will be participating in the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 – to be held from September 26th to 29th – presenting a world premiere of M/Y Latona, a new 50-meter masterpiece that adds an exciting, new chapter to the art of bespoke shipbuilding.
The Latona is the highest expression of craftsmanship and excellence, which stem from the successful cooperation between CRN’s Engineering Department and Interiors & Design Department with design firm Zuccon International Project. This new yacht’s technical solutions and the slender lines of her hull and bow are indeed the result of CRN Engineering Department’s outstanding skills and expertise, while Zuccon International Project, together with the Shipyard’s Interiors&Design Department, developed the vessel’s refined interiors and elegant, classical exteriors.

Building the Latona was a real challenge and marked yet another step forward in the history of bespoke shipbuilding. To meet her Owner’s wishes, we resorted to our Shipyard’s sound technical expertise and refined craftsmanship. The Latona is a classic and timeless megayacht that magnificently combines graceful exterior lines, extremely functional outdoor and indoor areas, and truly distinctive interior design. With her 50 meters in length, four spacious decks and an underdeck, the Latona has been built and forged to achieve maximum customization, as required by her Owner, who did not want to renounce the most authentic uniqueness, evident also in the choice of a precious turquoise shade of the hull. Similarly, the Liberty style pervades all interiors throughout the vessel, highlighting Latona’s unparalleled beauty and becoming an expressive constant of the guest areas. The slender bow, and the large internal and external volumes, embellished with spectacular area overlooking the sea, further enhance this yacht’s endless beauty.
Launched in February and delivered in May, the Latona embodies the utmost expression of the technical and design skills of the passionate and demanding CRN team that, driven by the vision of a selective and determined shipowning family, was able to shape the Owner’s talent and wishes, in line with CRN’s iconic slogan: “Made by you with our own hands”.

Massima espressione dell’artigianalità e dell’eccellenza, Latona è nata dalla collaborazione tra l’Ufficio Tecnico e l’Ufficio Interiors&Design di CRN con lo studio Zuccon International Project. Gli aspetti tecnici del progetto, le linee filanti dello scafo e la prua slanciata sono il risultato della maestria ingegneristica dell’Ufficio Tecnico del Cantiere, mentre le linee esterne e la compartimentazione degli interni sono state progettate dallo Studio Zuccon International Project, che insieme all’Ufficio Interiors&Design di CRN ha sviluppato interiors dai dettagli ricercati ed esterni dallo stile classico.

La sua costruzione è stata una vera e propria sfida, un nuovo passo avanti nella storia dell’arte nautica su misura. Per realizzare i desideri dell’Armatore abbiamo impegnato le profonde competenze tecniche e la raffinata maestria artigianale del cantiere. Il risultato è uno yacht ricercato e magnifico, che interpreta lo stile mitteleuropeo degli anni ’20, fondendo sapientemente eleganza e funzionalità”, ha dichiarato l’Avvocato Alberto Galassi, Presidente di CRN e CEO di Ferretti Group.
Latona è uno megayacht dallo stile classico e senza tempo, che combina felicemente gli stilemi delle linee esterne con la funzionalità degli spazi, esterni e interni, e il design distintivo degli interiors. Con i suoi 50 metri di lunghezza, quattro ampi ponti più un sottoponte, è stato costruito e forgiato per soddisfare le richieste di massima personalizzazione del suo Armatore che non voleva rinunciare all’unicità più autentica, evidente anche nella scelta di una preziosa sfumatura turquoise dello scafo. Allo stesso modo lo stile Liberty, fil rouge degli interiors, sottolinea il carattere distintivo di Latona, diventando una costante espressiva delle aree ospiti, mentre la prua slanciata e gli ampi volumi interni ed esterni, impreziositi da spettacolari aree a picco sul mare, ne esaltano la bellezza senza fine.

Varata a febbraio e consegnata a maggio, Latona incarna la massima espressione delle competenze tecniche e stilistiche dell’appassionato ed esigente team CRN che, spinto dalla visione di una famiglia armatrice selettiva e determinata, ha saputo dare forma al talento e ai desideri dell’Armatore: “Made by you with our own hands”.
