Great domination by Energy Corse in Mini
In recent weeks, the drivers in Energy Corse colours have mounted podiums in the biggest international events. In mid-October, Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Alex Powell scored a spectacular double at the Rok Cup International Final in the Mini category, with 143 entries! A week later, again at Lonato, Powell climbed on the highest step of the podium at the opening of the WSK Final Cup. More than ever, the performance of the Italian chassis and the way in which Energy Corse trains its drivers are valuable for young people eager to succeed at the highest level.
Double for Energy Corse at the Rok Cup
At the Rok Cup International Final, the Energy Corse chassis were particularly well represented in Mini Rok during the Final, in the top 10 and on the podium! Indeed, the Final was fought between Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Alex Powell, who took pole position at the beginning of the meeting. These two drivers had already emerged as leaders of their group in the Qualifying Heats. Antonelli finally won by 48 thousandths against Powell after an extraordinary race. This superb double was completed by the presence of seven other Energy Corse chassis in the Final, with the following results: 9th for the Italian Flavio Olivieri (ASD Revolution Motorsport), 13th for American Morgan Carson, 18th for Jonathan Weywadt, Denmark, 23rd American or Nikita Johnson, 27th for Russian German Foteev, 29th for Latvian Tomas Stolcermanis and 34th for the Australian Marcos Flack. Proof of the beautiful performance of the Energy brand worldwide!
In this Final of the Rok Cup, Karol Pasiewicz of Poland (V-Kart Racing Team) finished 3rd in the Mini Trophy and the Swiss Michael Muller (New Technology Team) placed 7th in Shifter. Among the other great performances of the weekend, the Italian Federico Albanese (Energy Corse srl) finished 5th in Junior and his compatriot Giuseppe Gagliano (New Technology Team) 5th in Senior.
A victory to start the WSK Final Cup
The Energy Corse team welcomed many drivers during the first of three WSK Final Cup races at Lonato. While there was no success for the young OK-Junior entrants, Alex Powell dominated the 60 Mini Final by leading from start to finish. He had already achieved the feat of winning his Prefinal and his five Qualifying Heats, despite a high number of entries (95) and incessant clashes in this category.
American Morgan Carson was further honoured by finishing 9th in the final, while Italy’s Flavio Olivieri (ASD Revolution Motorsport) and Russia’s German Foteev made good gains in the chasing pack.
Vice Champion of Italy with Antonelli
In 60 Mini, the Italian Championship ended in Ugento. Alex Powell reached the podium in Race 1 and Andrea Kimi Antonelli went for a magnificent win in Race 2 at the wheel of his Energy Corse chassis. A result that earned him to finish vice champion of Italy 2018.
Results too in FIA Karting …
The big FIA Karting meetings in September also brought great satisfaction to many drivers who trusted the Energy Corse team. At the KZ World Championship in Genk (Belgium), the German Leon Kohler made a good comeback in the Final, before dropping back after a penalty for the spoiler. In the KZ2 International Super Cup, Emil Skaras was consistently among the fastest: 3rd in Qualifying, 4th after the heats with a win and a brilliant 6th in the Final with his Energy Corse-TM Racing. As for the Australian Joshua Fife, he was aiming a top 10 before retiring in the Final.
At the OK-Junior World Championship in Kristianstad (Sweden), Loris Cabirou won a coveted spot among the finalists after a great run in Qualifying.
And in October at Le Mans, the Energy chassis showed off at the IAME International Final. In X30 Mini, the Estonian Ruben Volt, the French Arthur Raphanel and Clément Outran did not fail to shine during the Final phase.
Netto predominio di Energy Corse nella Mini
In queste ultime settimane, i piloti di Energy Corse si sono accaparrati i podi nelle maggiori prove internazionali. A metà ottobre, Andrea Kimi Antonelli e Alex Powel hanno siglato una spettacolare doppietta nella finale internazionale della Rok Cup nella categoria Mini, a cui erano iscritti 143 piloti! Una settimana dopo, sempre a Lonato, Powel è salito sul gradino più alto del podio in occasione dell’apertura della WSK Final Cup. Nella finale internazionale della Rok Cup, i telai Energy Corse erano particolarmente ben rappresentati nella Mini Rok in occasione della finale, nella Top-10 e sul podio! In effetti, la finale si è giocata tra Andrea Kimi Antonelli e Alex Powel autore della pole position all’inizio del meeting. Questi due piloti erano già usciti leader del loro gruppo nelle manche di qualificazione. Antonelli alla fine si è imposto per 48 millesimi davanti a Powel, dopo una gara straordinaria. Questa superba doppietta è stata completata dalla presenza di altri sette telai Energy Corse in finale con i seguenti risultati: 9° l’italiano Falvio Olivieri (ASD, Revolution Motorsport), 13° l’americano Morgan Carson, 18° il danese Jonathan Weywadt, 23° l’americano Nikita Johnson, 27° il russo German Foteev, 29° il lettone Tomas Stolcermanis e 34° l’australiano Marcos Flack. Una vittoria per iniziare la WSK Final Cup
Il team Energy Corse ha accolto numerosi piloti in occasione della prima delle tre prove della WSK Final Cup a Lonato. Nonostante i giovani iscritti nella OK-Junior non abbiano ottenuto i risultati sperati, Alex Powel ha invece dominato la finale 60 Mini conducendo la gara dall’inizio alla fine. Aveva già realizzato l’exploit di conquistare la sua prefinale e le cinque manche di qualificazione, nonostante il numero elevato di piloti impegnati (95) e le continue bagarre in questa categoria.
L’americano Morgan Carson si è nuovamente messo in mostra classificandosi nono in finale, mentre l’italiano Flavio Olivieri (ASD Revolution Motorsport) e il russo German Foteev hanno realizzato delle belle rimonte nel gruppo di inseguitori.
Vice-campione italiano con Antonelli
Nella 60 Mini, conclusione del Campionato italiano a Ugento. Alex Powel è salito sul podio di Gara 1 e Andrea Kimi Antonelli è andato alla caccia di una magnifica vittoria in Gara 2 al volante del suo telaio Energy Corse. Un risultato che gli vale la conquista del titolo di vice-campione italiano 2018.
Risultati anche nel FIA Karting…
I grandi appuntamenti FIA Karting del mese di settembre hanno regalato delle belle soddisfazioni a numerosi piloti che hanno riposto la loro fiducia nella struttura Energy Corse. Nel Campionato mondiale KZ a Genk (Belgio), il tedesco Leon Kohler ha realizzato una bella rimonta in finale, prima di retrocedere in seguito a una penalità per lo spoiler. Nella International Super Cup KZ2, Emil Skaras è sempre stato tra i più veloci: 3° nelle prove cronometrate, 4° dopo le manche con una vittoria e un brillante 6° posto in finale con il suo kart Energy Corse-TM Racing. Quanto all’australiano Joshua Fife che puntava alla Top-10 ha dovuto rinunciare in finale.
Al Campionato mondiale OK-Junior a Kristianstad (Svezia), Loris Cabirou si è regalato un’ambita posizione tra i finalisti al termine di una serie di straordinarie rimonte nelle qualifiche.
E in ottobre a Le Mans, i telai Energy si sono distinti nella Finale Internazionale IAME. Nella X30 Mini, anche l’estone Ruben Volt e i francesi Arthur Raphanel e Clément Outran si sono messi in evidenza in occasione della fase finale.
Nette domination d’Energy Corse en Mini
Ces dernières semaines, les pilotes aux couleurs Energy Corse ont trusté les podiums dans les plus grandes épreuves internationales. Mi-octobre, Andrea Kimi Antonelli et Alex Powell ont signé un spectaculaire doublé à la Finale Internationale de la Rok Cup dans la catégorie Mini, forte de 143 inscrits ! Le team Energy Corse a accueilli de nombreux pilotes lors de la 1ère des trois épreuves de la WSK Final Cup à Lonato. Si la réussite n’a pas été au rendez-vous pour les jeunes inscrits en OK-Junior, Alex Powell a dominé la finale 60 Mini en menant de bout en bout. Il avait déjà réalisé l’exploit de remporter sa préfinale et ses 5 manches de qualification, en dépit d’un nombre élevé d’engagés (95) et d’affrontements toujours incessants dans cette catégorie.
L’Américain Morgan Carson s’est encore mis en valeur en se classant 9e de la finale, tandis que l’Italien Flavio Olivieri (ASD Revolution Motorsport) et le Russe German Foteev ont réalisé de belles remontées dans le peloton de chasse.

En 60 Mini, le Championnat d’Italie s’est terminé à Ugento. Alex Powell est monté sur le podium de la Course 1 et Andrea Kimi Antonelli est allé chercher une magnifique victoire dans la Course 2 au volant de son châssis Energy Corse. Un résultat qui lui vaut de terminer vice Champion d’Italie 2018.

Dans la Super Coupe Internationale de KZ2, Emil Skaras a constamment fait partie des plus rapides: 3e aux chronos, 4e après les manches avec une victoire et brillant 6e en finale avec son ensemble Energy Corse-TM Racing. Quant à l’Australien Joshua Fife visait un top-10 avant de renoncer en finale.
Au Championnat du Monde OK-Junior à Kristianstad (Suède), Loris Cabirou s’est offert une place convoitée parmi les finalistes à l’issue de superbes remontées réussies lors des qualifications.
Et en octobre au Mans, les châssis Energy se sont illustrés à la Finale Internationale IAME. En X30 Mini, l’Estonien Ruben Volt, les Français Arthur Raphanel et Clément Outran n’ont pas manqué de se mettre en évidence lors de la phase finale.
